"Better than excellent. They saved the day by adding us to their already full job list and came the same day I called. The plumbers came in, explained what there were going to do, found the leak and fixed it. Incredibly thankful for the great service."

"I have an old house and it has been my experience that it is hard to find decent and honest companies. Dwain McCain Plumbing Inc is a hard working company that is reliable, honest and decent. Really impressed with the responsiveness and professional service. Mario and Jarred were very courteous, went right to work and impressed me with the quality of services they provided. I was called when the plumber was on the way to my home, and called if there was a delay. The work was performed accurately and in a most workmanlike manner. Our plumber was extremely courteous, helpful, and very professional throughout the entire process. Will always use them as my go-to - especially Mario, who is the absolute best! They got us taken care of professionally and efficiently I really appreciate it and, will be recommending you to all our friends and family. Sincerely, Wally T. De Luna"

"<p>First they came out and gave me a quote. I did have to pay for it but it was taken off of the total price when we chose them. They dug up our backyard with a small backhoe. They also had to cut our concrete to remove all the orange burg pipe. A new sewer line was laid down and they gave us three access points incase our line ever got clogged.( we had none before. our yard is longer than most of the snakes used to clear the pipes.) As they worked our sprinkler lines were cut and repaired as they went along. They then filled in the dirt and patched our cement. 1 week after this was complete I received a call from their office asking how it was working for us and if there were any problems. I told them I noticed a problem with the sprinkler line. They came out the next day and found one line they missed. I love the work they did, I love the price and especially them checking for my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again.</p> <br />"

"This was by far the BEST experience i have ever had using Angie's list. Jerry is wonderful as is his wife and i will definitely be calling them again. I love that this is a family owned business and that Jerry did the work himself. Jerry capped off two gas lines, raised the plumbing for the toilet and drain in bathtub, which he had to demo concrete to get to. He was curious and very respectful, which i appreciate being a woman."

"Went pretty well, did not fix my garbage disposal that was leaking as he said he did not have a disposal handy. Did clear the drains, but now less than 30 days latter they are clogged again. I have recontacted the plumber to see what he is willing to do to correct this problem. Will keep you posted. <br />"

"After learning that the tank was full, Doug recommended a septic pumper in Sulphur Springs who was also prompt and good. After the tank was pumped, Doug came back and attempted to run a snake through my lateral line. For some reason, he was not able to get the snake to go through the line and he thought it might be collapsed. It turned out to be OK. <br /> Doug also replaced a couple of cleanouts for me. <br /> He was fast, courteous and reasonably priced. <br />"

"I am remodeling my kitchen. After removing the existing cabinets, I noticed a slow leak behind the wall where the sink supply line is. I also noticed the new cabinet next to the range would not fit over the existing gas line. Since I did not know the schedule of the cabinet installers, I chose to pay overtime and call a plumber out on the weekend to ensure the area was ready for the next phase. Lamar was very responsive and showed up within a few hours. Joey repaired the hot and cold water lines that feed the kitchen sink, but they leaked again and he had to start over which took him into his second hour at overtime rates. The gas line had to be moved six inches to the right because it would be in the way of the new cabinet width. Joey moved it and the distance would now allow the cabinet to fit. During the next week while I was installing the new flooring, I notice the gas feed was longer than it was before he moved it. It now protruded over seven inches from the wall. Measuring the cavity behind the range, I found that it allowed only four inches. I called Lamar to come out and redo the fitting and they said they'd charge me again because I approved their work. I did approve the new distance, but had no idea he added a three inch nipple in the process. I called the office and they also said since I didn't supply drawings, and they did what I asked, they stood firm in charging me for the re-fit. Never did they ask me for drawings or ask the depth requirement for the range. I sent them on their way. Totally dissatisfied, and won't call them again. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Beeville, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
