"Raymond Rosario, Sheik Ali, and Louis and the crew did an excellent job, hassle Free and a smooth experience. My roof had storm damage. They were polite and professional, not pushy and did not try to force you into anything. They informed me of the entire process. Had bad wood panels replaced and replaced shingles with premium roof tiles. It cost me 20 grand, but in this case, you get what you pay for, and my property value went up. Definitely a satisfied customer. "

"I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company. "They're expensive and they did good work, but the details were not handled well: 1) They said the job would take one day - it took four. 2) They parked a large metal dumpster on my drive without prior warning, blocking my car in the garage making it impossible for me to leave. 3) They incorrectly calculated the final bill, only reducing it to the agreed upon amount after I pointed the mistake out. Also, this isn't a big deal but their sales reps, while friendly and knowledgeable, did the whole used-car sales "let me talk to the owner and try to get you a better deal," routine which was a bit corny and embarrassing. I understand that's what is still taught in sales rep school, but it feels a bit patronizing. When I said I needed a couple days to compare their offer with other estimates, they went into high pressure mode, using the old "I can't guarantee this price will last, etc. etc." all very old fashioned sales tactics that I hope companies will abandon soon. "

"I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent retaining wall replacement project completed by John Krause Construction (JKC) at my property. After reading positive reviews and receiving an estimate that, although over my budget, seemed reasonable for the work involved, I made the decision to hire JKC. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a significant mistake, and I am left extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the overall experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior: The crew exhibited unacceptable behavior while working on my property. Not only did I witness them disposing of bodily fluids on-site, but they were also disrespectful and dismissive. when I raised concerns no response was received. I now smell urine when entering and exiting my garage. 2. Unresponsive Ownership: I have attempted to reach out to the owner multiple times to address these concerns and resolve the issues, but my messages have been met with silence. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and has only added to my disappointment. The owner refused to speak on the phone since the owner was made aware of the call being recorded. 3. Property Damage: During the construction process, my property was left damaged in multiple areas. This included e.g., landscaping destruction, equipment damage. Personal crew members vehicles being driven through my yard leaving deep tire marks damage. 4. Subpar Quality of Work: Despite the high cost of the project, the final result does not meet the standards outlined in the estimate or contract. No proper grading was completed. Every time it rains pools of water sits in front and behind the wall. The response received was. “we have passed all inspections.  There will be some water pooling while it is settling still. Plus the fact of the hard rain today, it will happen.” The wall has been completed for 2 months. Given the extensive problems, stress and anxiety I have faced. I do not recommend John Krause Construction."

"I would not hesitate to recommend - responsive, great communication, reasonable pricing. We had a disastrous roof flooding experience from a flat roofed dormer and needed it fixed quickly. As Roberto worked on the dormers he found significant water damage below the shingles, documenting it with photos for us. Although it cost more than the original estimate to replace the flat plywood sheaths and wood fascia, it was still reasonable and the work done was thorough and looks great. "
