"Finding a company that will do one window is hard. Chaney was recommended by someone who did work on our house. They responded within a day or two, measured, gave us our options which were numerous, and about 8 weeks later (supply chain, everything takes longer than you want) they installed the window, it's perfect. I couldn't ask for a better experience. We highly recommend these guys."

"Contracted with them at the end of December for new entry/storm doors. It'll be a couple months, great, fine. (little annoying the "remeasure tech" was HOURS late but whatever) Got a call mid February, doors are here, we'll be there 02/24 to install. Again, great, fine. They show up, on time, said they wanted to re-measure to make sure everything was to spec. Um, ok - why wouldn't it be? They ripped off all of my door trim/casing and sat in their trucks for *90 MINUTES* without a word. Came back: "we have a problem". The brickmold is a quarter inch off - the manufacturer (ProVia) has a software problem and even though we gave them the correct measurements... blah blah, whatever. So, wait two weeks to get the corrected brickmold. Fine, stuff happens. 03/05! Called them 03/06. Guess what? STILL WRONG! No apologies, no anything. Wait two more weeks, no biggie, this is the way stuff works. March 20 it is! NOPE! Cancelled again! Now April!"

"The installation crew was great. One blind was too short and had to be re-measured and replaced at a later date. Their mini-blind price was the best and I would use them again even though one blind was measured wrong and I had to wait a couple of weeks for the new blind to be installed. I skipped their vertical blinds since they were a little pricey."

"Andrew and Isaiah delivered in every way from the very beginning. Andrew handled all the paperwork with my insurance company. He submitted 5 separate rebuttals to the insurance company's offers and was successful each time getting me everything I needed. Isaiah followed the actual work and made sure everything was installed properly. Both of them answered my calls. They were very easy to contact. Great job guys"

"Ron was very professional during the estimate. He explained two potential ways to accomplish the job and recommended what he thought would would and look the best. The team that installed the window (2 guys) included one of the same men who performed work for me two years ago. It was good to see a familiar face and longevity with the company. He remembered the window and even too time to check his work both inside and out, the latter needing a long ladder to reach. The window turned out great. The trash was removed, the area cleaned, and they were down the road in no time. Highly recommend."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Belleville, IL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
