"Just finished the replacement of 28 windows and one sliding door. All aspects of the project were above expectations from the initial consultation with Danny and quote to the final installation. The Marvin Infinity windows are first class and coupled with the expert installation have transformed the look of my 32 year old house. My installer Eddie was the hardest worker I have seen in a very long time. His expertise and attention to detail were outstanding. A significant rebuild was required for my new kitchen window and Eddie did a masterful job reconfiguring the area including a new roof in that area. The alcove in the living room with 6 windows presented challenges with all the exterior trim work required but came out perfectly. Weather presented a challenge on several rainy days but it hardly slowed him and his helper down. In today’s world it’s hard to find people like this that care about the quality of their work."

"We have an old house and needed 9 windows replaced, including 1 large 3 panel, 2 door side panels, and 6 basement windows. Getting an initial estimate was easy, and the installation process was expalined to us in detail. We needed some of the windows in obscured glass and liked their options. The installation was done in good time and completed in one day, as expected. We are truly amazed with the fit and finishing of the new windows -they look great! We highly recommend Windorco and would definitely use them again!"

"Very hard to initially schedule a time or receive call backs but once the time was set up, everything went very well. They had limited product selection but we were able to do all windows but one and the coverings came in much ahead of schedule and installation was very quick and well done. Installation and cordless shades were no upcharge which kept the price down quite a bit."

"Companies that do great when everything goes well are one thing. But sometimes, jobs go sideways. It happens. That's when you really find out what kind of a company you're dealing with. Kirkland Glass & Mirror has done a number of glass replacement jobs for us, and they had always done a great job in the past. However, a recent replacement job involved an odd-shaped parallelogram. When it turned out that the fit wasn't quite right on the initial replacement glass, Mike and his technicians did what it took to make it right. In the end, it took several tries to get the proper fit, but they stuck with it until the job was competed to our satisfaction. And they were friendly and pleasant to work with throughout the whole process. It's clear that customer satisfaction is their priority, and they will remain our go-to company for our window and glass needs."

"Reglaze did the window replacement at my work and I saw firsthand their work product, care, and expertise. There were some difficult windows in our offices (we work in a converted house) and they were able to handle them with no problem, restoring the integrity of the structure in all cases. I was so impressed that when it was time to replace windows in my personal home I contacted Reglaze to see if they could give me a quote. Pete came out to the house and talked me through our project to replace 8 windows. He did a great job of setting expectations, talking me through options and even talked me out of replacing a couple windows that were in excellent condition. I really appreciated that (he was so right). Reglaze’s quote came in lower than the others that I had obtained and I knew they did good work so I hired them. We live in a 93 year old house with a stucco exterior. To say we always encounter problems with home improvement projects would be an understatement. One company came to do a quote, saw the stucco and left saying “sorry we don’t do stucco houses”. We had several windows we knew would be problematic. One was a homemade double pane window that was completely crumbling between the two layers of glass, one window had been water damaged years prior, several windows had never been able to open since installation 40 years ago, and more issues. We talked through our concerns with Pete and his crew and I prepared for the worst. Reglaze got to work. They were so very careful in our home making sure to cover and protect everything around the work site. I felt completely comfortable letting them work while I was at the office and they provided excellent communication during the project. They tackled each window with skill and care and I was in awe each night when I came home. The workmanship was top notch. The homemade and crumbling window looked absolutely perfect, like it should have looked when the house was built. One window had to have a completely new sill and window box built to fix a previous poor installation and it was a masterpiece. Every day I marvel at how good it looks, like it is original to the house. The guys did a beautiful job. I had planned for overages due to our tricky job (that is usually the case for projects on our house) but they came in on budget and the work was impeccable. I would recommend Reglaze to everyone! Especially if you have a difficult job like we did. From our first phone call to invoicing, everything was smooth and they were all a pleasure to work with."

"The repairman came right on time, as promised. He laid out floor protection throughout the home to catch any debris or moisture. He meticulously took out the old and installed the new, cleaning as he went. He polished up the windows to where you thought there wasn't even a window in place. It looked flawless! I'm super impressed and will use them in the future to replace more windows when needed. I highly recommend!"

"I need four 40 year old window screens that needed replacement. My remodel contractor recommended Screenman. It took them about two hours to manufacture the four new screens on site. They removed old screens and tie downs and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at the quality of the screens and the fit. I would recommend this company to anyone who has old, torn, or damaged screens. The price was reasonable as well. Great company."

"<p>I contacted All Service glass in order to replace the glass panes on multiple windows where the seal had failed and the windows were foggy.  When they came out to measure the windows, I was informed that since I was the original homeowner, the particular brand of windows had a lifetime warranty and I could get the panes replaced under warranty.  (Something I had never been told by my builder or the many other glass companies who have replaced foggy panes over the years.)  By informing me of the warranty, All Service lost over $1000 in business; however, they gained a loyal customer.  They even sent me the contact information I needed to file the warranty claim.   I did at least order some glass for a shelving unit as well as new window screens.  If I need any glass items in the future, I guarantee I will purchase from All Service Glass. </p> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Bellevue, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
