"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. "The general carpentry was completed fairly well. The issue came with the floor leveling and tile installation. When Andy poured a layer of leveling liquid he must have had it a little too thick because he had to trowel it around and when it dried it was not level. So he poured a second layer of leveling liquid on top. this layer came out flat a least. He then laid the tile. There is a ridge running right down the middle of the bathroom ... I.E. if I hold a 2 ft straight edge across the tile one end is 1/2 inch higher than the other. Having a 1/2 inch variance in a distance of 1 1/2 ft is not acceptable. The other resulting issue from laying 2 layers of leveling liquid was that the bathroom floor ended up 1 1/2 inches higher than the bedroom floor. I ended up hiring other contractors to redo the edge on the tile and ramp the bedroom carpet up to hide the 1 1/2 inch step up into the bathroom. Andy is a nice guy but due to numerous issues I could not wait for him to get done. If you hire Andy to do work for you, I would recommend that you avoid having him do any tile work."
