"Gunner is the "A" team. They promptly responded to my quote request. Conor made a fair, honest, professional low pressure presentation resulting in our instant decision to go with Gunner. The contract phase was easy and Becky was a pleasure to work with in the permitting and certificate of completion process. Anthony and Conor were the project managers and were straight up honest, super responsive, in constant daily communication and treat you like family. The construction team was all business with a smile. We were away during the main phase of the project and Conor provided daily photos and text updates eliminating any concerns we had about being away. The post project review with Conor was easy and the very minor issues were quickly resolved. The Hardie board and gutters look perfect. Recent heavy rains illustrated the gutters were properly installed and worked flawlessly. The four custom windows are delayed for reasons beyond the control of Gunner and I have full confidence they will be perfectly installed. We are very satisfied and highly recommend them! Five stars+!!"

"Window World sent someone to measure our Windows and to give us the price. The gentleman was very professional, courteous, and easy to talk with and answer any questions we had. They called to set an appointment to install the Windows even sooner than they said. The Windows came in very quickly. The installers were great. Pleasant to work with and very professional. They did a great job, our house is 160 years old so nothing was square or plumb but they made everything look good. The outside of the window was capped so there is no wood showing and nothing to paint. All of it was done in a day. We are very satisfied. We have six more on the front of the house to do and we will be using them again."

"Was told they do not hire outside contractors….not true the guys were outside contractors but they did do very nice work. Was told the deck would be maintenance free…not true…they left three old bare trim boards at top and I had to fist fight to get them to come back and cover them. Some of the old brace boards were removed by the workers and a couple years later my existing roof started to fall down. I had to do another fist fight to get them to send the workers back to nail up two braces. The work crew was very good and I’d hire them without hesitation but never again will I hire Install America. The office crew were ? to deal with. Cost over 5,000."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"Bob was professional from start to finish. I needed a new bow window, as the one in my house was about 40 years old and didn't open. Bob came over and explained all the options with the window, and was surprising less that window world! The day of the installation was smooth, the team showed up right on time, and actually finished quicker than I expected. They also touched up the wall paint where the molding was narrower than the old molding. We love our new window! Definitely recommend."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Berwick, PA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
