"United Freight of America did an absolutely fantastic job! I have never needed a service like this before, but I went to Angie's list found the highest rated service and United Freight came through perfectly! Very responsive and professional staff! The driver who delivered the car was courteous and professional too! Excellent job!"

"The shower installation ( walk-in shower w/ glass doors and sides) was poor. It was obvious after installation that they had never installed this type of shower before. The shower walls are not square, they caulked inside the shower at the seams and it leaked. The directions clearly state not to caulk inside, just outside. And the installers walked inside the shower with their muddy boots on and permanently stained the shower floor. To this day, I have not been able to get the stains out. The painting, carpentry and drywall work was pretty good, but the shower problems are enough to keep me from hiring them again. I did call and ask them to come back to fix it. They came back and smeared a little more caulking on and that's about it. There was no sense in asking them to come back again because it was obvious they didn't know what to do. I had already paid them all that I owed and it has been my experience that, once you pay up, it's almost impossible to get satisfaction. My mistake. <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

"I dropped a glass on the countertop, and on the second bounce a pointed edge of the bottom of the glass made a divot in the top of the countertop. I contacted DuPont about repairing the surface myself, and they indicated that the material necessary to perform the repair is not avaialble to the public. The DuPont service representative directed me to the local Surface Link service technician (he services a five state region in the Rocky Mountain area). I did have a little difficulty making first contact. I was unable to dial the service tech directly, and was supposed to go through a sales representative. After two unanswered calls to the sales rep ("Linda"), the service tech contacted me directly. We set an apptmt for a particular time on the following Thursday (6 days following the phone conversation). I had to leave the house that Thursday morning, and returned home about 1hr and 15min before our scheduled apptmt. When I returned home, I discovered a msg on the answering machine that the service rep (Brian) had called to see if he could come earlier, as an earlier time slot had opened up. However, the msg was 2 hrs old, so that when I returned his call he had already picked up another project, and now would be late for our original apptmt time. Brian arrived about 1.5 hours after the original apptmt time, and it took about 2 hours for the repair to be completed. Most of this time was spent waiting for the repair material to harden. I am pleased with the results of the repair, and would use this service again (but hopefully won't have to)."

"The condo above me had their hot water tank burst and it flooded my home. I had water dripping from the bathroom exhaust fan when I awoke that morning, my bathroom received the most damage with large ceiling stains which expanded out to the hall, and bathroom walls that blistered when water got under the paint. The carpet flooding expanded to all rooms except my kitchen. <br /> <br /> I called several restoration companies that AM, none of which would come out that day. Tri-State was the only one willing to start the drying out process that day and the owner Scott Bernett arrived after his normal workday to install several large fans in the most severe areas which relieved my anxiety greatly. Scott arrived for three days to rotate the fans until the carpet was completely dry. <br /> <br /> After the condo association insurance approved the repairs needed, I was tasked with choosing my replacement carpet as a first step to restoration. Due to personal reasons(I am now disabled), there was a very significant delay in my ability to follow through with any more work. When my situation improved, I contacted Tri-State and spoke with office manager Deborah to relaunch the restoration project and even though all that time had passed, once she investigated my claim Tri-State agreed to complete the work. <br /> <br /> The individual employee Brent was a pleasure to have in my home. He was personable, skilled and very helpful. He even fixed my bifold laundry doors(with Scott's approval) at no charge, something that was unrelated to the insurance claim. Even their choice of carpet vender was helpful, replacing my second bathroom carpet with linoleum at my request and at no extra charge. <br /> <br /> All in all, I can not recommend this firm enough, my entire experience with all their employees was nothing but positive and I am very pleased with the quality of work performed."
