"When I started researching companies that could finish my basement, I contacted 3. One never responded to my calls. Another contractor came out and talked with us. He said he would send us an estimate and we never heard from him again. Better Basements responded to my calls, came to my home promptly, and met with us for 30-45 minutes about our basement situation. They went over costs and options. They were very professional. They sent an estimate in a timely manner.
We still aren't quite ready to begin this project, but when we do, we will be calling this company again.

"My disposer went bad and when I replaced it the existing plumbing would not line up and was kind of patch work anyway.  Time to get it fixed.
So I called Goering Plumbing because of the Angie reviews and John N, the service tech, came out the next day (on time).  John did a fine job of straightening up the issues and also took the time to discuss a few other matters with me which were a big help.
One month later and still no leaks.
Plus John was clean...  :)  No three day old, stinky clothes and crusty boots like the techs of a certain plumbing/sewer cleaning service that I have had the not-so-pleasurable experience of using in the past. 
I was also able to use the $40 trip charge coupon that Goering Plumbing has posted here on Angie - cool.
And speaking of money, just want to let you know that Goering's hourly rate is $90 with the first hour being fully charged.  I do not know if they breakdown the rate into, say, 15 minute intervals for subsequent hours.

"Mike and his crew did an excellent job on the basement remodel project. The project was to add 2 rooms, 3/4 Bath, laundry and storage closets in the basement. Prior to signing the contract, Mike spent a lot of time to understand the requirements and provided a number of suggestions as well. The quality of his work is excellent and he also ensures that the work done by sub contractors (plumbing, electrical etc) is of high standard as well. He pulled permits from the city and worked with the inspector to ensure that all work was according to city's building code. We are happy with the quality of his work would definitely recommend him for any home remodel project."
