"I think the windows installed could have been sealed better. I expected a crew but only one guy came out. He told me that there would be an extra charge for 5 skylight windows. I would use them again. The price was worth it. They gave me a warranty in case the window started frosting or fogging up. My windows started fogging up after 6 years and I called them. In about 6 weeks, they ordered new windows and installed them with no questions asked."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <p> The work was needed for my home inspection. He had previously done work for me, which I was more than satisfied with.</p> <p>There were shingles to be replaced, rotten wood round facia boards, 2 window ledges with dog damage, to be removed and new ones added and painted. Back door had rot and threshold had to be replaced. Plus tree branches had to be cut and removed as they were hitting roof.</p>"

"The floor man was finishing up in the house and was looking for a place to washh his hands. Went to the back of the house and spotted the leak in the hot water heater which is outside the house in a small shed. He called us, and we came right over to the house. I called Handyman, and they had someone out within 40 or so minutes. He shut off the water at the meter, which we couldn't do. He bought the necessary items to do the work and came back the next day as promised. He was on time and finished the work. Job well done. Very prompt, courteous, on time, and worked diligently! I'm so sorry I can't remember his name, but if I need similar work to be done I would call Handyman and ask them to look him up. A very hard worker. <br />"

"Mr. nicholson is a very honest man...its like hes building the house for himself...he will tell you his opinion on everything..that distinct quality of his saved me over six thousand dollars...he has all the connections to get anything done that is needed or desired.. his work is prompt on time and very exact. i had someone else in the buisness take a second look at the work and he could not find one single flaw.. i was amazed at how fast and accurate his work was.. his crew is built entirely out of gentlemen who have worked together for many years.so the process seemed to worked seemlessly and without mishap..i cannot give enough praise to Mr. Nicholson ..he can help you with your home much further than what his services actually are...he refers only companies that he has known trusted and worked side by side with for many years..."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Biloxi, MS

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
