"I chose Brian based on Angie's List reviews! Everything everyone says is TRUE. My home was left in immaculate condition. NO cigarette butts, no beer cans, care around my flower beds etc. This was the best work we've ever had done on our home's exterior. The time and care that Brian and his crew took were amazing. This project was started very late in the season as we only contacted Brian for an estimate in late July and, as you might expect, he was booked for most of the 'season'. The project took slightly longer than expected given the late start, and the fact that weather is ALWAYS a factor with exterior painting and beyond anyone's control. Regardless, Brian ALWAYS stayed in touch via email or text to let us know his plans. and completed most of the project (we actually ADDED things to the scope of the project that could not be done before the bad weather hit) and he will return in the spring to complete these added items for us. <br /> If you are looking for a "cheap" painting job, this company is NOT for you. Brian charged what I consider to be a fair rate for the extent of the job (very large home) and the attention to detail in the workmanship that he provided. A man is entitled to be paid a fair days wage for a fairs day work, so this is not the cheapest company you can find, but in my opinion it is the BEST, and sometimes you DO get what you pay for. <br /> I think what sums up our overall experience best is that we are planning to develop a long-term relationship with Brian and the carpenter he introduced us to, to help us "MAINTAIN" the house's exterior and also attend to the interior in the near future. <br />"

"This was a wonderful company to work with.  New Leaf Construction performed repair to the exterior of our art gallery building.  The damage was caused by significant rot / water issues.  We have very high expectations and we are quite meticulous in the upkeep of our properties.  New Leaf far exceeded customer service expectations and by far was the most responsive and courteous company that we have worked with in Maine.  The crew was responsible and respectful.  The contract process was quite clear and detailed.  The billing procedures and follow up was superb.  The work was completed to perfection."

"<p>Before re-roofing They covered my flower beds and ground around the house, brought in a dumpster/truck and then  stripped off my roof shingles. They then cut out the roof and installed 2 new Velux Roof Windows (with installation kits, screens etc.), and shingled my vacation home using water/ice barriers, soffit vents and roof vents.  I specified IKO  architectural roof shingles. The job required releasing and reestablishing the supports for my chimney and vent pipe   </p> <p>They also protected my upstairs from dirt and dust, covering all furniture and vacuuming at the end of the job. </p> <p>The job went very well: on time, on estimate and schedule. The yard and flower beds were completely free from shingle waste or pulled nails. </p> <p>Some of the protection and clean up details were specified in the contract, but Troy's crews clean up the jobsite as a general rule.</p> <p>Now, several months later after weekly rain storms, one dumping 5-inches of rain in one night, I am completely confident that the skylights  are completely weather tight. There has been absolutely no sign of any problem.</p> <p>I could not be more pleased. They came in on scope, schedule, and budget with no fuss or bother. It makes me wonder why I submitted to years tension and disappointment with other contractors.</p> <p>The job was the second major project Troy has done for me in the last two years. "I am a long distance landlord, I found Mark thru Angie's list. Mark responded to my original e-mail, we conversed by phone, he was very professional. I did not have enough money in my budget to do all we would like. We put our heads together and formed a plan to get the most pressing work done at a price I could afford. Note: Mark does not estimate a job by the $'s/hour and time, he just gives you an overall finished price estimate, (no real problem). We agreed on a price, I gave him a deposit, he arranged work times with the tenants, (tenants were satisfied), he completed the work as contracted and stayed within his estimate.
