"Rainwater drain pipe was unclogged successfully. Service person Ephrem was very professional, cordial and competent. One star deducted because the cost of the service was higher than anticipated."

"This is a top-notch and class act business to deal with. I did a lot of research when I decided to convert from an oil to gas system and I had a lot of companies in for estimates. Whereas a lot of other companies advised me to have a direct heating system for my hot water, Dennis was the only person to (correctly) identify that an indirect set up would be far (FAR) more efficient -- and that is because unlike the salesmen who came through my door, Dennis has a background of actually working on, servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems. That kind of knowledge is paramount to providing good service.
Dennis, by the way, also gave me the fairest price of all the companies I had in. This is a business with a solid knowledge base, expertise in what they do, and they do business the right way without raking customers over the coals.
I want to add an anecdote here which really exemplifies what DP Marlatt is all about. My oil tank was low and leaking when I initiated the contract with Dennis -- thus in dire need of replacing. Dennis advised me to use diesel fuel as a holdover instead of getting a costly oil delivery (example of insider trade knowledge). I didn't keep a very good eye on my oil levels and ran out, and so I needed an emergency service on my system. Dennis sent his son to do the work -- and he was excellent, clean, and knowledgable. What I really appreciated, though, was that they cut me a break on the cost of the maintenance because they knew I was getting the install a week later.
I appreciate the opportunity to support family owned and small business whenever possible; DP Marlatt makes that decision very easy to do.
I highly recommend DP Marlatt for any and all HVAC needs.
"

"Luckily the pipe was not completely frozen, but a solder/sweat joint had cracked on the copper tubing. He was able to cut out the broken and frozen part of the tubing and replace it fairly quickly. He had all the necessary parts and tools with him, and completed the repair fairly quickly.
"

"It was a very busy period for natural gas conversions, with a list of about 200 pending jobs at the time. At first it was difficult to get hold of the person our job was assigned to, but I think eventually he managed to speed our job up a little (our oil tank had failed). It went fine from there.
"

"My experience was very positive. I called Sheridan because our main sewer discharge pipe in the basement was leaking (a very old pipe). Got a couple of estimates to replace it with PVC and thought Sheridan's price was fair/better than the other estimate(s). Their estimate also included adding a separate trap/discharge pipe for the water from the washer to drain into (previously the washer water drained into a utility sink which had a 1.5" drainage pipe. The new one goes directly into the sewer line and is a 2" pipe). Although they couldn't provide an estimate on the spot at the house, they emailed me later that day with a written document with the price and work to be done. Installation went smoothly and they re-connected the washer, dryer, and utility sink for me.
Later that day, I did find water under my kitchen sink due to a leak from a coupling that connects two sections of pipe together. (I wondered if this was due to vibrations from when they cut the sewer pipe since the kitchen pipe is/was connected to that sewer line. ?) It was after normal business hours, so I left a message (I had the option to get an immediate call-back if it was an emergency, but I didn't do that since it wasn't an emergency) and the owner called me back the next morning to schedule someone to come back out. Turned out to be a simple fix, as there was a nut/washer that was broken and the coupling was loose. They replaced it quickly at no extra charge. Would use this company again.

"
