Their complete disregard for accountability is infuriating. At first, things appeared to go smoothly, but the illusion of competence quickly disintegrated when it came time for the building inspection. The city inspector requires a letter from the project engineer verifying that the work is safe, sound, and compliant with code. 58 Foundations flat-out refuses to provide this basic validation of their work. Why won’t they stand behind their project? Are they hiding shoddy, substandard work? As a homeowner, I’m now saddled with the mess of an open permit and no resolution in sight. This is unacceptable. If a company won’t back their work with a simple letter, what does that say about their integrity—or lack thereof? "That Granite Place was hired to install Quartz countertops in a home I owned by the general contractor, Garrison Homes. The countertops were installed incorrectly (on an angle) as well as cut incorrectly. Despite countless emails and phone calls, they refused to do the repair since they were paid in full. The operations manager, Mark Widen, said his hands are tied and that they wont honor the repair or warranty. I wouldn't EVER deal with this company again nor would I recommend them to my worst enemy!!!"
