"Customer Svc (calling into the office for scheduling/ followup) huge pain. The scheduling process is tedious. They pummel you with a barrage of emails, texts, phone calls. Their price is double other reasonable specific providers vs local handyman providers. I went with these guys based on their claim they *fix/repair* any minor defects. My oversized gutters were new a few years b4 service. I cleaned the gutters myself up until Ned Stevens work. I thought the check and fix was a good decision. As a result of this work, I now have downspouts separating from the gutter that I cannot fix myself. I expected much more for $190. Their *deals* $7 off , 10% off offer no value in my opinion."

"I used Home Advisor in the past for a local company that would help me with some other project. So I decided to try my luck with a new project that mother nature decided I need it to get done. A 60' foot gutter rip off the roof and half was still held by some of the original anchors, it hung over the main driveway and it appear dangerous. Once I send out my request, I received the contact info for some Gutter companies. Anchor Seamless Gutters called me within the hour of the request and after speaking with them and explaining my concern of the potential danger, they agree to meet me at the residence past 5pm to asses the situation and provide a quote. No other company called on this day, other companies called on the following days. Once they came to look at the problem, he immediately pointed out the root cause of the failure. The person that initially installed the gutters on the house save money by not installing enough hangers on the gutter. He informed me the reason why they should be more hangers and provided 2 estimates one to attempt to fix and one to replace with a new gutter. The price to get it done right was 2X the price of the fix, is a no brainer considering the warranty for both parts and labor is great. Thinking ahead that the house is a triple decker and that there were more gutters that most likely will fail for the same reason. I also requested to quote to inspect and fix the rest of them. My feelings were correct, all the other gutters were suffering from the same issue and it would be a matter of time before they would fall off the roof. I am very happy with the company, the knowledge and fair price is something that many companies lack at times. They showed up 2 days later and perform all the work the same day. Very happy happy with the results."

"Exact exteriors did an amazing job. It took a little bit to get the windows from the manufacturer but once the materials were here the job was completed fast. The workmanship was very high quality. I was comfortable with all the workmen who installed new window new siding, new gutters and did a little bit of exterior painting. The house was very tired looking and now looks amazing. "We priced out dumpsters and initially, the dumpsters looked like the way to go but upon reading the fine print, we realized they would have cost more than a bullbag. Each dumpster was about $150-$200 BUT each ONLY included up to 1 ton of material, and the companies would charge me an additional $85/ton over it. The bullbag price was NOT based on weight but rather just filling the bag to the top of the bag. The bullbag not only saved me money, but the people were nice to deal with, but everything they said, they actually did. We have a house on the Cape and we will use them there too in March. We were told up front that there would be an additional $75 fee because of the location, but it is STILL cheaper and easier than a metal dumpster."

"I really wanted to like this company. I liked the owners; I liked that they were local, and I liked that they were a small, family-owned company. I did not like that the owners left for vacation the week that the majority of the work was to be done. I did not like that many of the wooden shingles were sanded, resulting in what looks like a poor paint job in many spots. I did not like that no one called to tell me about an upstairs windowsill that fell apart during prep. I had to call to ask about that, which prompted the employee (who admitted that he had considered the job done) to call the owner. I do like that the sill was repaired shortly thereafter--in fact, I like the carpentry work in general. I like that some of the shingles were replaced so that the paint job that I see every time I enter the house looks better. I don't like that many other parts of the house don't look so good. I also really, really, really don't like that the owners never showed up to look over the job with me. An appointment for such was scheduled, but no one showed. The checks I wrote were promptly cashed, though. I wish I had hung on to the last one until someone came to assess the job, but, alas, I did not. Bottom line: I will not use this company again, nor will I recommend them to others. (And I really wanted  to be able to do that!)
