"David was professional, we had good communication , he did a clean and good work in replacing our water heater. He had the best price quote."

"This review is long overdue, we replaced our furnace end of February 2023. After getting a couple of quotes, I called Hudson Valley HVAC. Personable and professional, Mitch went over everything that needed to be done, remove and replace furnace informed me of the procedures they would use and gave me a fair estimate of job. He showed up on time, work was performed very efficiently and neatly. Highly recommend"

"We hired Seth, at Expert Mechanical to install a new high-efficiency, Hayden hydroponic heating system throughout our entire home, with multiple heating zones and corresponding thermostats for our one-level, ranch style house in Spring Glen, NY. At the same time, we hired Seth to do extensive plumbing work, replacing a number of rusted out pipes in our basement, and installing a new water pressure tank. We found Seth on HomeAdvisor, and saw that he was highly rated. We had nothing else to go off of so we were really hoping it worked out. I m so happy to say, he could not have done a better job. Seth is personable while remaining professional, highly highly responsive to communication. He makes himself available for questions and is willing to even pull over in his car and take an urgent call, to give you his full attention. He s willing to come check on things at the house if needed, without any problem. I never get the feeling that we are bothering him, or that he is put out in any way. Seth is helpful, courteous, and reliable. Let me tell you about the heating system he put in, it is a game-changer. We are so happy with this system. It is light on the electric and light on the propane, and it heats our home evenly. One big concern I had was that we would have cold patches and patches that are overheated. Not at all. The heat is evenly distributed, reliable, and just a wonderful update to our home. This was the right system to buy and the right person to install it with. We lucked out. The fact that Seth could also do such extensive plumbing work at the same time as a testament to his range of skills. We needed a few pipes replaced and paid Seth to do that and also install a new water pressure tank. Seth s pricing is very fair, and without me even asking, he went above and beyond and did significant additional plumbing work without charging us more. Yes we had paid him for the plumbing, but he did beyond what we paid him just out of kindness. He also threw in some repairs to the hot water tank, which he both identified and corrected without us having to ask him. Also no charge for this part, just as a thank you for doing business with him. The work he did is high-quality and it has changed our quality of life in our home. Even now, after all the work is completed, Seth continues to be responsive to calls and is willing to come by on very short notice if anything urgent comes up. I just couldn t be happier with Expert Mechanical and with Seth. I highly highly recommend them."

"James Stone was really good. We had a little confusion about the rebate for the original furnace they were going to install but we came to an agreement and I received half of the rebate due to me not being qualified for the full rebate. I was more than satisfied and they were very accommodating. Everything is working great. He went out of his way to make me satisfied. Thank you for giving me this company's information."

"I was looking for permanent HVAC company for my home in Long Island, I usually do a yearly maintenance for my units and I wasn’t happy with my previous contractors"

"I hired Polar Plumbing to replace my existing direct fired water heater because it was reaching end of life and was not keeping up with our hot water needs. I had originally considered a tankless system and when Jared visited my home he took the time to explain the features of the tankless system and contrasted that with an indirect fired system. We decided to go with the indirect system with a whole house filter. At that point I was still meeting with other providers because I wanted to be diligent about understanding the different services and indirect tanks. Through this period Jared and Ray were incredibly responsive and thorough in their responses to my follow-up questions. At one point Jared came back out to my home to perform a water test because I had inquired about a water softener as potentially part of the project, and he was very forthcoming about when he would or would not recommend a water softener which I felt exemplified Polar commitment to satisfying their customers and not just trying to up sell the project. I of course opted to go with them for the project and Mike performed the installation beautifully. It is a big job and the previous water heater and filter installation had not thoughtfully considered the placement of the hardware but Mike was excellent in this manner. All the plumbing looked great and tie-in to the old work was excellent. Mike was very considerate of our water needs and expedited the cold water supply back to the house, so we had access to water. I was beyond satisfied with the entire experience and will definitely be using Polar again for my heating, plumbing, and air conditions needs."

"We had a main water line leak between two houses on our property. We received 4 estimates to replace the pipe. All recommended replacing vs trying to repair the pipe. Advanceds’ estimate wasn't the lowest, there was one lower estimate but we elected to go with them because their technicians (Jason and Taz) were so helpful and so pleasant. We felt we could trust them to do a good job as quoted and do it on time. This job was difficult as the main line lies underground beneath asphalt driveway and lawn. The asphalt and the lawn are separated by a low wooden retaining wall. The plan was to dig a trench straight through from house to house and replace the existing pipe with a new pipe. We would later have to repave the trench which would be roughly 50’ long. In addition, we would probably have to rebuild the older retaining wall. The day of the project the owner of the company, Sam, studied the situation and came up with a different plan. He and his team were able to push the pipe through the sleeve which held the broken pipe!! This prevented any need to dig!! No digging!! No breaking up the asphalt, no need to repave, no need to reseed the lawn, no need to fix the retaining wall!! Done. In a matter of hours. Can you imagine our relief? Our actual invoice was for less than half of what was originally quoted. Sam also saved us a lot of money in future repaving and possibly repairing the short retaining wall costs. Sam is not only very knowledgable but is a man with integrity. My feeling throughout this experience with Advanced is that we were all on the same team. Props as well to Isha who works in the office. Isha patiently answered all of our questions and was helpful all around. All scheduling was quick and punctual and we were kept in the loop through it all. A great team who take pride in their work! We highly recommend Advanced Professional."

"2 toilets replaced and 1 faucet replaced. Am waiting for new washer in a 50's faucet. The half bath off the bedroom is the reason I bought the house in the first place because the fixture reminded me of a beloved summer place in the family."

"Most of the work was performed by Joe's employee who was very courteous and very competent. He completely replaced out inner pipe stem and faucet system in bathroom shower, including cutting through sheet rock etc. The existing system was damaged and not repairable. The work was very clean. Joe specifically replaced hot and cold spigots in the basement connected to washing machine, work being also very competent and clean. Both men provided explanations and guidance that was greatly appreciated. Joe replaced hoses to washing machine and cleaned all water ports giving advise about maintenance. I would recommend this company. Pricing was fair for the time expended. I provided the hardware set and pipe stem for the bathroom."

"Replaced all old cast iron pipes from septic to roof vent including new faucets and toilet gaskets. Work was extremely neat and professional"
