The initial visit with Angela was very informative, and we ended up picking out some lovely blinds that suited our needs. The installation went incredibly quickly and was done perfectly. "I had to back out of the original agreement (est. $2800) because after researching & placing a call directly to the AC subcontractor (Ductz Doctor, also on Angie's List) that DISCREET uses, I determined that the subcontractor DOES NOT perform the tasks either outlined in my original contract or required to remediate the mold in the air handler/ducts in my home. I relayed this information to Mike Gonzalez, Field Manager. I ended up contracting PART of the work to be done by DISCREET ($700) which was performed by Mike, Field Manager, and he did a food job. I hired ANOTHER company (also on Angie's List) ) to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Air Handler, remove and clean its inner parts (coil, blower, etc.), and clean AC ducts & all vents in order to remediate the mold."

"Back in August of 2025 J&R was contracted by my HOA to help in our daughter's closet after we found signs of old water damage from before the roof remodel. They did such a great job not only finding and eliminating mold we didn't know was there but on the rebuild (which they were seperately contracted again by the HOA) they not only replaced everything the way it was they went the extra step to paint the wall the color we were planning to do before we found the water damage. A few months later I came home to find standing water around my water heater. Given my first experience I called J&R right away. They guided me the process, explaining I should replace the water heater first and once in they'd come out for the remediation. Plumber came next day, J&R the following day after that. My wife and I had just had our 3rd daughter, and my only concern was a safe environment for the new baby and my family and if possible, to be restored by Christmas. "In Jan 2019, we paid them $3100 to rescreen our pool area. We were given a 5 year Warranty. It looked like a great job and they had to come out and replace a panel a rat ate through, and we paid for that. Perfect. Then we got iguanas that pulled 2 panels from the roof side of the house. We offered to pay for those, However, there are 6 more panels that came loose and the spine is hanging and loose panels are flapping that were NOT done by the animals. The workmanship should last more than 6 months. We have not had any storms and with just daily weather, so many panels should not have come loose. We called, texted, sent letters with no response. We only want the screens repaired as stated in the 5 year warranty, which is not being honored. We don't like doing bad reviews but are really hurt that the screen warranty is not honored. $3100 is a lot of money for us and we are back where we were with bad screens. All we want is, the screens fixed and we will pay for the 2 panels damaged by the iguanas. Thank you."
