"Came out and checked out the chimney - chase cover had rusted and was letting water leak in ( had some staining on my ceiling ). Gave me a fair quote, had a custom stainless steel cover fabricated and installed quickly. They did a great job and would hire again."

"Great experience. Communication was very quick, clear, and responsive. The work was done on time exactly as agreed upon and the end product looks and works great. Price came in under quote. We wanted to get our fireplace made functional and safe and Smalling provided an economical and minimally invasive way to do this. Another company we spoke with wanted to basically demolish the inside of our chimney and the flue, expand the opening, haul all the debris out through the house, re brick the fire box, and rebuild the top part of our chimney while installing a damper. We did not want to go this far as this method would have been too expensive, invasive, and dirty. Smalling offered another way to accomplish the same goal. They sprayed a ceramic liner into our flue to seal it and heat-proof it, re tuck-pointed our fire box, installed a top-mounted damper and control chain and replaced our rusty chimney cap. This only took one day versus the other method which would have taken three, and it cost half as much as the more invasive method. We are very happy with this more modern and creative approach to our flue/fireplace restoration and we have been enjoying fires in our house for the first time since we bought it."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"They did a very good job on the cleaning. Showed up on time and got it done quickly. They kind be hard to get a hold of and actually showed up twice. Not a huge deal in the end; the chimney got cleaned and the price was great!"

"The quality of the work was well done.  Greg and Adam are very responsive.  Adam does excellent work, and very fast once he had all the cabinets, etc.  The thing folks need to know is that it takes a very long time to get cabinets custom ordered and to get granite selected and cut.  Make sure you build this in.  Overall I think this project took too long to complete (over two months), but the overall final product was really great.

"Having taken advantage of an Angie's List special the cost listed reflects my savings.
Due to all the rain central Indiana has experienced during July, the service provided by Jersey's Construction was done in two steps. The day of the initial visit, July 13, the weather was threatening. DeWayne Davis called me and suggested that he and Pete would stop by and determine and obtain the needed materials to complete the job. We went to Menards since I have an employee discount.
DeWayne had no problem with going to Menards.
On August 1, Pete and Bud arrived to complete the job. Both men were very personable, as was DeWayne. I was present during the entire operation. The men worked efficiently as a team. They moved the gutter "out of the way" so they could replace the rotted board and then replaced the gutter. I had taken it upon my self to paint the replacement board while waiting for the weather to allow the work to be completed on August 1.
Pete pointed out that some of the shingles are missing. When I said that a new roof will have to wait until Spring he provided a temporary fix.
