"Hired vendor to do some cast iron work for my tenants sink on 2nd floor, ended up dropping half of the pipe down the wall breaking the water pipe, and ended up charging me for the repair for damage he caused. Now I have pecks under my sink on the first floor. I paid $2850.00 he did the work he was hired . Replacing some cast iron and lead pipes, plus removing garbage disposal and redoing tenants sink pipes. I wish I would of saw the reviews before hiring this company. $2000 labor plus $800 parts. There's no $800 in parts . Plus I help by smashing through the wall myself exposing the pipes and cleaning the mess. Which I did not charge for. Real nice people, but for the price they should off just did all the work them self for what he charged. $2850.00. There's a Sucker born every day. I was one of them. I WISH I WOULD OF SAW THE REVIEWS!!"

After two calls to other plumbers where one said it would take at least a week and the other one didn't even return my call (they both had answering machines), I searched Angie's list and found Peabody in my town. I called on Monday morning and got an answering SERVICE -- a live voice! I received a return call within a 1/2 hour. They came out that afternoon and did a great job. Very pleased with the result and he will definitely be my "go-to" plumber in the future, and I will highly recommend Shawn to any of my friends who ever need a plumber."

I had another company (with whom i had a pervious interaction with) in to do this work, they did not clean the furnace, produced a false reading, TURNED off my gas (on a friday) and then said i needed to buy a new furnace. Don from Fontaine's Heating was over at my place within 2 hours, did the actual cleaning, produced a true (and safe CO reading) all for a little less than half the price of the first guy. Fontaine's saved my day. Flexible and quick, honest and proficient in thier work, and reasonably priced AND was represented by one of the nicest guys you could ever meet (Thank You Don)"

"I called and got a call back within the 24 hours states in the message. They were able to come out quickly and take care of all work that was possible to do. They came within the allotted 2 hour window and were polite and cleaned up after they were done. They fixed the toilet and made sure it worked properly, made an adjustment as well as installed the new sink and faucet. We have an old tub with a old style lead pipe that clogs quickly. They tried to do a few things to help but didn’t want to damage the pipe. They are the only plumbers that gave an alternative to cutting a hole in my living room ceiling that would ruin antique plaster work. They suggested going through an adjacent closet. I will be calling them in the future to replace tub drain pipe."

Kevin called and inspected the problem on Monday, got the supplies and returned to do the repair on Tuesday. He charged a very reasonable rate. I'm told Kevin is a very personable and professional young man who does great work. <br /> Certainly a number to keep on hand for plumbing problems"

"The company was very responsive.  We called early the next morning and the company had a plumber at our home the very same day.  In order to repair the pipe, Carl had to rip out a built in book case.  He did that with enough care and attention so that the book case should be able to be put back with only minor patching...a plus.  He also had to cut a portion of the ceiling to get at the water pipe which was a messy process. Carl cleaned up after he repaired the pipe and removed all excised ceiling and insulation materials.   He also took time to talk with us about how we can avoid this happening again in the future.  We highly recommend Schneider Plumbing. <br />"

"Arrived within 30 minutes--figured out clever way to get at pipe hidden behind drop ceiling armature in basement by going from above. Cut and replaced pipe with flexible tube in minutes. Friendly. Efficient."

"Matt responded fairly quickly to my original call when my tenants had no hot water. He was unable to diagnose and referred me to someone else, who said the boiler needed to be replaced. Matt did provide a temporary fix by piping hot water from the tenants on the other side of the duplex, but was then incredibly slow to respond with an estimate to replace the boiler. When he finally gave me an estimate, it came in $1000 higher than another plumber I decided to go with for the job. Matt then neglected to bill me for the services until 8 months later, by which time I had forgotten I had an outstanding bill! His bill was sent to the wrong name, wrong address, and did not have dates of service, and he charged me $175 for the diagnostic visit, when others had offered this service free of charge. Overall, I was not impressed with his professionalism or his pricing."
