Past experience, I know SL honor their $99 diagnosis fee no matter how long it takes, and if not fixed they return for free. They don't put you at the bottom of the list either. I have used SL for complete furnace/AC replacement, warranty work, regular service, after hours, and have referred 4 new clients to them. The only reason I have this experience with SL is because of the less than satisfactory experience I had with another HVAC company. SL has come in and replaced wiring, replaced the thermostat after rewiring the thermostat didnt work. And when one wire solution didn't resolve it, they didn't give up. They offered to provide fans in the summer and space heaters in the winter until the issue was identified and corrected. NOTE: The unit SL installed at prior address has only had regular maintenance needed to support warranty for over 8 years. My recurring issues are related to an incorrect installation during new home construction by an HVAC company who outsourced installation and then refused to stand behind their product & service."
