"We could not be happier with Brandon's work, punctuality, cleanliness, personality, communication, honesty, pricing, and overall character. We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Flash Painters. They arrived when they were supposed to, finished the job when t hey said they would, cleaned up when they were done and charged a fair price for the work. When working on the inside of my house, they were meticulous in covering things so no paint got on furniture and when finished, went through the house and made sure I was satisfied with the job in every room. On the outside of the house, they did everything necessary to make the house look good, pounding in nails, filling woodpecker holes, and caulking where needed. They even came in and made sure all my windows opened and put screens in. I later hired Flash again to stain my deck and paint a ceiling. "I had a sink installed that I provided, 2 other bath sinks replaced, a toilet replaced, a bidet faucet replaced, another bathroom sink faucet replaced, a shower head replaced, and an outdoor faucet replaced. There were a few other small items also. When he replaced the sinks, the old sink had to be removed with damaging the formica counter top. And with each sink, the shut off valves underneath were also replaced."

Jan 28, 2016: We wanted vanities for 2 bathrooms and base and upper cabinets for a kitchen expansion. We were hoping to take advantage of free design services from Kitchen Design Center of Framingham (KCOF).

The cabinets did not meet our expectations. Instead of getting bathroom vanities we received kitchen cabinets for the bathrooms, meaning the vanities were significantly deeper than normal bath vanities. We provided the cabinet designer with specs for our bath sinks but the designer neglected to check to see if the sink would fit into the cabinet that they designed. After the marble counter was already produced we found out that the sink wouldn't fit and the solution proposed by Kitchen Design Center of Framingham was to cut down the sides of the cabinet and drawer boxes significantly. This solution was unacceptable and would void our warranty. Instead we found a replacement sink which would fit the cabinet and replaced the marble counter. Kitchen Design Center of Framingham refused to take any responsibility for their design error. Reluctantly, Kitchen Design Center of Framingham agreed to split the cost of the replacement marble counter, but insisted that these sorts of design issues happen all the time - yikes! In reality, we paid $580 for "free" design services.

The kitchen cabinets installation was also disappointing. None of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts line up as they should. The installers insisted that the cabinets were installed in the best possible way and said that it isn't possible to align the doors and drawer fronts, blaming the situation on the Wood Mode cabinets. During the design process we weren't notified that this would be the case. In fact, we don't believe that Wood Mode would make cabinets which didn't allow alignment of doors and drawer fronts. In fact, the entire rest of our kitchen is Wood Mode cabinets which align very nicely.

March 16, 2016: Following our initial review, Dave Bartlett at KCOF contacted us to see what could be done to rectify the situation. He agreed to pay the remaining balance ($580) for the marble countertop that wasn't used due to the sink change. He also agreed to come to the house and look at the door and drawer alignment issues. During his visit, he identified 2 issues and arranged to have these issues addressed. As a result, the alignment on the drawer and cabinet doors is improved.

"I purchased a $ 99 coupon from Angie's list for $ 200 worth of plumbing work.   I had several repairs to be done and expected the job to be done when the technician showed up but that was not the case. He spend an hour going over the services offered by the company, and  looking at the various repairs and calling the office to get estimates.  He was very thorough and nice but just getting the estimate took a long time and I was disappointed that some of the repairs would not be done that day. In any case the repairs (fixing leaky faucets, drain repair,..) seemed way too expensive even with the coupon discount. I ended up ordering a new faucet on line and getting another plumber to come and replace it. I never used the coupon.

"We were so happy with the kitchen and master bathroom remodel that Todd did for us that we hired him again to remodel our downstairs bathroom. Todd gutted the old bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt the floor in order to remove water damaged boards from a prior leak as well as accommodate the new curb less shower pan. Todd was very thoughtful and had some good design & layout suggestions and helped us work thru other challenges like how to route/hide things we didn’t think of such as vent pipes. Todd found and installed new window trim and doors that also closely matched the rest of the house to help maintain consistency throughout. He installed new tile on the floor, shower walls, and subway tile halfway up all the remaining walls. All of the lines were perfect again and he did a fantastic job. We have received many compliments on the bathroom and are thrilled with how it turned out. Todd is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and his work."
