"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

"Brian is incredible. Yale Appliance declared my six year old Thermador range unrepairable and I was woefully shopping for a replacement when I received the recommendation to call Brian. He was fast, fair, and ingenious in saving my range. And the fee was so fair … he saved the day."

"Trust me people, Jimmy is amazing. He will go out of his way to make sure an install doesn't just go well but is perfect. He saved me from a bad situation with both Home Depot and Lowes who refused to install my gas cooktop even though I paid for the installation. He made the necessary adjustments and everything is great now. Hire this man if you need him, you will not be sorry. He's been doing this for over 40 years, he knows his stuff."

"The guy that came was very nice, didn't make a mess and had my fridge fixed in 40 minutes. I would call them again for any appliance repairs. I also bought my appliances there 2 years ago and they had great people to help me chose what was best for me.

"Found on a Tuesday morning that our oven had stopped working. Called Al, and he and Marlo came out that afternoon. The faulty part (igniter) was diagnosed and replaced, and the appliance confirmed to work. Friendly, professional, and in and out within an hour. Would highly recommend."

"I called Chris on Tuesday to make an appointment for a repair on our washing machine, he said he was booked up for the day but could come over between 6 and 7 tonight or the next morning if that worked better for us, we had him come over that night ON TIME! He ran the fault code and found that the drain pump was the problem. He showed me how to take the pump apart to clean it out and then reinstalled it , we found that foreign material had damaged the pump so it needed to be replaced. Chris showed me how to remove the damaged pump and how to install a new pump myself and where to buy it he also said he could do the install if I preferred. I did the job myself the next day as the repair was relatively easy and saved some money. I feel that his attitude, guidance and professionalism made him a great choice for my repair needs and we would hire him again without hesitation We paid him $100 for the hour he spent trying to fix the washer and teaching me how to fix it myself"

"The technician was friendly and professional explaining the problem and how he fixed it. I thought the cost for parts and labor was quite reasonable."

"Given the complexity of the project, it went as smoothly as something like this can go. Hagit developed a very functional and attractive design based around an island that would seat 3, along with a variety of cabinetry. She was very patient when we wanted a number of adjustments. She accompanied us to pick out counters and backsplash, and always seemed to have good ideas for selections according to our tastes. Brian mapped out the engineering, which included moving a support beam, together with an engineering firm. He also mapped out a three-month schedule with the various subcontractors the firm uses, like the plumber, electrician, plasterer, counter people, floor people, etc. They all had lots of experience with this kind of work, and in working with KCF. Brian worked hard to ensure that new wood flooring would match well with existing flooring just outside the new kitchen. The KCF team also took a lot of care to set things up in our condo to create barriers to minimize dust and dirt, and try to ease our inconvenience; they even loaned us a microwave to use in our temporary kitchen in the basement. For the most part, subs showed up as scheduled, and did good work. KCF also coordinated all the town inspections. There were only a few glitches--the biggest one was when the tiles for the backsplash arrived broken, and it took some weeks to get replacements. The tile outfit wasn't very responsive, and seemed not to care much. But KCF kept on with all the other work, and the tiles were finally put in pretty much near the end. We have used the kitchen for a couple months now and love it. The design and craftsmanship all worked well. Going through a kitchen re-do is never a pleasant experience, but KCF made it as painless as possible."
