Unfortunately he did not have the part I needed on hand, but he did locate it and tried to come back later the same day. "Found Nelson group after a very poor experience with Sears. Mike called me fairly quickly after leaving my info with Service Magic. I was able to get an appointment the next day to install a dishwasher. He called ahead when he was on his way (a novelty after dealing with Sears). Took the time to get a missing piece and installed everything. He will be the first person I call if I have an appliance problem."

"We called the company because our Haier fridge drawers got broken. The tech came out on time, had a quick look, figured the part that needs to be replaced and said the office would get in touch with me regarding the cost of repairs. A couple hours later I got a call from the office - turns out, the manufacturer doens't make this part any more. Since they were not able to repair the appliance, they didn't charge me the trip fee - now that tells you something about the work ethics of this company!

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."
