They replaced hardie siding sheets on 2 sides of our house, as well as replaced all the rotted trim wood around all the windows and around the exterior where needed. They also power washed all the exterior, caulked and painted the exterior. Will recommend them for any projects anyone may need done. I will be using them for any other future projects that we may need in the future."

"The 9 inches of rain from remnants of Patricia gave it the ultimate test and it performed beautifully. Whereas minor rain events caused ponding before, with the new drainage there was barely any standing water even as these heavy rains were ongoing.
The sprinkler system was trickier to fix than anticipated since a previous contractor had accidentally cut the electric lines between the nozzles. Rob and his crew were able to get everything back into working order.
Tree trimming also was handled professionally, as Rob carefully identified which branches needed trimming so as to let in sufficient light for the grass while maintaining the health of the tree.

"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

"Everything was fine until we paid them. There was work that we asked them to come back to repair. They first gave us the run around and then at one point they simply stopped all communications with us. THAT IS NOT HONORABLE!  It's a shame too because the rest of the work was well done.

***UPDATE***
Since the review, we have been contacted about the review. I do want to clarify that the actual siding work was very well done. It was a repair to a door frame that was done incorrectly that started the issue. What made the issue worse and subsequently made me write this review was how the issue was ultimately ignored. It seems that now we are on the right track. I will provide another update when the work is completed.

Pay-Less Siding sent a couple of their guys to our home today and they replaced the old door and frame with one that we purchsaed. The work this time was on par with the work they did on our siding...EXCELLENT! I am sorry that it had to come to this, but I am happy that you made it right!"

"It could not possibly have gone better. I got a very quick response from Y&D General Remodeling and Repairs to my bid request. They gave me an excellent bid price and even after I looked at the damage in better light and told them there was more to be repaired, they still didn't charge me more. They showed up exactly on time, assessed the situation, obtained the necessary materials, and completed the job right away. They actually saved us money because they did such a good job of reattaching the garage door rails that we did not have to call out a garage door repair place. My husband, who is no easy critic, was super-impressed and so was I. I will absolutely contact them with any future projects."
