"They showed up on time, did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves so there was very little mess. The new gutters look and work great. My only complaint is that I bought a deal through Angie's List for a certain number of linear feet of guttering. When my job turned out to be less than that amount, I asked (twice) by email for a partial refund which was an equal percentage (20%) to the shortfall. Mr. Lux simply ignored the question. I would have appreciated either a 'yes, I'll do it' or 'I'm sorry but I can't change special deals' but he simply refused to answer."

"Jeremy did a great job with window cleaning and I assume also the gutter cleaning. Prices were fair."

"J and Son’s is amazing. We were impressed with their honesty, their professionalism and overall their gutter Installation. Our new gutters looks amazing."

"Overall it was a good job and looks nice on the house. Crew even finished the installation in the rain. Everyone courteous and friendly. Only took 1/2 star off because I did find small indentations in the seamless gutters after the crew had left. I would recommend them, just look over the final product before they leave to catch any problems."

"The Roof Services team arrived on time, and told me exactly what they were going to do. They kept me informed as the job progressed, and finished on schedule. They cleaned up as they worked. I’ve inspected the work, and it looks good. Easy to work with, and very professional."

Everything went great.  We first had the root barrier done because we had a structural engineer come look at our house and he said the roots from our oak trees and the one from our neighbor was starting to effect our foundation.  I searched different companies on Angie's list and decided to go with Works by Rob.  He had an A rating on Angie's list.  I had also had other companies come out but I felt Rob did the best job with explaining what he was going to do and he was competitively priced and was actually doing more than the other companies.  I met with Rob and he was profession and prompt and explained everything he was going to do.  Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to prevent roots from causing further foundation problems along with a moisture barrier per the recommendation of my structural engineer.  They did a great job and replaced the dirt and grass and cleaned up everything after they were done.

A few weeks later after the big rain we had, I called Rob about a drainage problem we were having.  We had already had drains installed but they were not functioning properly.  Rob and his crew came out and accessed the situation.  Rob determined what the problems were and he redid most of our drainage system.  Rob and his crew worked really hard at digging trenches and laying new pipes and installing drains in key areas of our yard along with properly routing the huge amount of water we had coming off our roof and going out through our gutters.  Rob explained everything he was doing each step of the way.  He cleaned up after everything was done and even went the extra mile and did a few other things that were not originally discussed.  We had another big rain recently and everything worked well and drained like it should.

I would certainly use Works by Rob again and will highly recommend them to others.  Rob and his crew were great and did a fantastic job with both the root barrier and the drains.  Rob also does gutters and replacing and fixing of roofs and I will certainly be calling him again when I need new gutters or a new roof.

Thanks Rob for all you did!!!
