"It was fantastic! They had a really organized crew. The guys set it up and knew exactly what they were to do, and they never missed anything. I called them and the gentleman came out and went over everything with me. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I had no problems at all. I priced them before and they were $1,000 cheaper than a couple of other bids that I got. The price was satisfactory, but I think they all charge too much."

"To repair the cement patio, John framed out the areas for the cement to be poured. He brought his motorized mixer to the site and mixed and poured a skid full of bags of cement. It was back-breaking work, and hot to boot, but he persevered. He did some amazing design work to accommodate two cut-outs and lids. We really like how it turned out. Once the cement work was completed, he designed and built an outside storage closet/shed with shelves. It looks great. <br /> <br />As a contractor, we found him to be dependable and conscientious about the job being done right. (You might call him a bit of a perfectionist!). His rates were very fair, and he completed the project in a timely manner. We have contracted him to do two more projects for us this Spring. <br />"

"On phone, I mentioned high price for a small deck/ramp. Friends who know about staining said the price was high. Mr. Clymer said, "well then, have them do the job!" I went ahead and agreed to his doing the staining. It looked poorly done. Later on a friend applied a second coat. These people might do other work well, but this was not a good experience."

"This contractor is very trustworthy and efficient. He came in and did the work. He had a key to the house. He came in and moved what he needed to and then replaced the furniture that was there back where it was and he cleaned up after. We were very pleased with his work.  With the window job he told us it would take about three days unless it rained. He came in stuck to the job and had the job done in two days. We were so satisfied with his work we hired him to replace the front porch and have already gotten an estimate to do the siding work done on the house. His recommendations for the places we used for the windows and the siding were excellent. I of course got estimates from several places and spoke with other customers that had used the company that made the windows and liked what I heard. I would definitely reccommend Mr Lance to anyone."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Bridgeport, WV

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
