"Clark's was professional, knowledgeable and efficient from beginning to end including my first phone inquiry, the bidding/estimate process, scheduling, the work and the wrap up. Every room in my house was refinished or new woods laid. Two teams came in to do my work - first the team that removed and hauled away the old carpet/pad, prepped the floor and laid the new woods, and the second team sanded, prepped and sealed the floors and installed new baseboard/quarter rounds. Every single person I interacted with was customer service oriented, knowledgeable about their aspect of the work, courteous and willing to answer many questions. They all maintained a very clean work site and cleaned up entirely at the end of everyday. There was minimal dust and they took great care to cover all artwork or other household items I could not remove. Clark's provided outstanding, quality work at every step and I would hire them again for all my hardwood floor needs."

"We hired Juan for our kitchen backsplash and floor tile installation on our kitchen upgrade project. We ended up hiring him for cabinet, countertop, and range hood installation, too! Juan and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. He was prompt, professional, and an excellent communicator. His work and commitment to getting it right came through every day, and he has a very collaborative style. His advice gave us confidence in the decisions we were making about materials and installation. Because our home is 100 years old and has many quirks, we had a few surprises along the way. Juan didn't hesitate to offer up solutions. (He put in 6 shims to level our window sill! Something we didn't even know we needed). "The salesperson promised all would go well, he had checked our doors and no doors would have to be shaved for the flooring to fit (now some doors cannot be opened because they need to be shaved) said the flooring would be glued to the floor (it was not), said they would move up to 8 pieces of furniture per room so we did not have to move anything (we had to rush in over the holiday and move all of the stuff out of the way), promised an extra 10% off the cost of the bill as a special (we were declined that also), and also said installation would start on Wednesday November 24th at 8 am. No one showed up at that time, and when they did they brought the wrong color of flooring so they could not start. They had to rush through the job on Saturday and Sunday because we opened again on Monday, and installed flooring over an existing drain that we need uncovered (it still has not been fixed even though we have contacted them several times over the past two weeks). Two doors still do not open easily because the doors were not shaved. And, the foreman Ryan did not have the people return when he said he would to fix these issues last Saturday before 1 pm. Now our calls arent being returned anymore. But, they made sure to call us right away to try and get paid for the balance of the job, and even that person never wrote back when we voiced our concerns. Bottom line, the sales person Jeff promised the world and did not deliver it, the foreman has not gotten back to us, and we need a drain uncovered as we are a hospital and need all drains to be open for a reason. So, we like the flooring, but the lack of communication, lack of organization/planning, unfulfilled promises, and general inaccurate information cause us to not really want to recommend them, unfortunately."

We had put off having flooring installed because a good portion of it was ceramic tile and glued linoleum. We imagined it taking days to demolish all of the floors.
