"Excellent company! Honest, prompt and professional. Explained to me how the repair I needed might be available through whirlpool for free. Called whirlpool and they are fixing it for free tomorrow! Don’t know if all appliance repair companies would be this honest or just end up charging me for a repair that could have been covered by the manufacturer. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
