"A year ago, we had William refinish our floors; he did a great job-- also on painting! Sadly, during the year a dog became in ill an unbeknownst to us had accidents on a rug covering the newly done floors- the moisture seeped into the wood; it needed to be repaired. William did the repair for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, initially the repair didn't look good- I contacted William. He came back and agreed that it didn't come out as he'd hoped (he'd had to replace boards, re-stain and varnish the area). He came back again, re-did the work for no additional fee and it looks GORGEOUS. He showed great integrity and commitment to quality- his disappointment in the original repair was evident on his face. He is not always super quick to get back to you- but I found him to be responsive to polite persistence. He is now my "floor guy"-- we're moving and he'll be the person I call for any flooring related needs."

"The owner personally came to our home and walked through the area to measure and show us the examples. Once we picked the flooring he quickly provided an estimate. The work team let us know exactly when they would begin work and arrived right on time. The flooring and carpet removal as well as laying the new hardwood was completed in one day. The sanding and refinishing took two days for the final coat of finish and sanding. They did a good job of keeping the dust contained and cleaning up after the job. "I had laminate in the entry way and in the kitchen of my house.  The entire 1st floor has hardwood.  They came and they replaced the laminate with hardwood and weaved in new pieces seamlessly.  They also sanded and stained it.  We came periodically to check on the progress each evening and they cleaned up after themselves every night.  Javier, the owner,  called me to keep me abreast of each part of the job.  When they finished, everything was cleaned up and it was all perfect and turned out exactly how we wanted it to.  One of the things that I really thought was exceptional was that we had a broken door in the master closet that was broken.  When they replaced the door after doing the floors, they fixed the door, which was above and beyond the scope of work and just a really great display of customer service."

The work was finally begun after three delays, totaling nine days, after initially-promised start date. With two of those delays, Larry did not initiate contact; I called him to check when he would arrive. He said delays were caused by family issues and no-show workers. His floor work is great, but time management and communication need to be better."

"Let me start by saying I am a DIYer and was going back-and-forth in my head on whether I was going to do this job myself. However, I know that sanding hardwood floors is a scale and if you mess it up you have to live with that mistake. I researched local Fredericksburg hardwood floor resurfacing companies and found capital flooring. Nelson responded to my request within 30 minutes and came out that same day to give me a price quote. I was surprised at the cost of the total job. I was even a little skeptical at first. I’ve talk to locals who’ve stated there are some real scams out there. THIS IS NOT A SCAM! We scheduled a date and his crew showed up on time the morning of. It’s incredible how fast they work and how exceptionally well the floors look. They are very professional and proficient. They put plastic up all around the areas that accessed other rooms to keep the dust down. They even forewarned me every time they were turning the machine on because it’s loud. I’m so glad I hired capital flooring and I am exceptionally pleased with the product. They sanded off the top layer of my hardwood floors, mixed a stain that matched my new vinyl floors, and applied two coats of oil based polyurethane for the finish. They also installed, and stained flush registers for my exposed ducts and stained new transition pieces to go from hardwood to vinyl flooring.
