"The house was built in 1961. It wasn't apparent that any major refinishing had been done to the floors, but it looked like something was done at some point in the past. The floor was faded where area rugs had been down for who knows how many years! Dwayne and one of his co-worker came in and sanded down the floors and repaired the floor where an old brink planter had been put in as a room divider. The floors were covered in some kind of wax, so it ended up taking longer to do the work and special sanding paper was needed. Tom kept me well informed of the progress of the work. When everything was done, the floors looked great!!! I couldn't be happier! I know no one who walks in the room will be able to tell where the old area rugs were or that the brink planter was ever there! The extra work and supplies ended up costing more, but Tom is very accommodating about the price difference. I plan to have more work done on my floors in the future, both refinishing and tile installation, and I will use them again. I highly recommend them to anyone needing floor work!!"

"Ray and his crew did an excellent job on the exterior painting. They also repaired 2 window sills and the porch overhang while adding insulation as well. Ray is an honest, integral man that wants to make sure you are happy when the job is done. Not only would I recommend Ray to everyone, I also would recommend people call Ray for estimates on other projects and even the stuff he does not do. "The job went very well. Doug provided a very fair quote to replace my 4 year old roof that was very poorly installed by a different contractor. He also provided a quote to replace my family room ceiling which was damaged due to the roof leaking. He responded to my request for an estimate within minutes and was at my house within 30 minutes to determine the work to be done. He was upset by the work by the previous contractor and his goal was to restore my confidence in small business contractors and he and his workers definitely did that. Doug and the crew were thorough and attentive to small details. They went above and beyond on some aspects of the job.....manufacturing and installing a finished edge where the roof met the house on the garage and on an addition, matching the paint color of my siding for that edging, painting the roof vents and power vent, adding very nice crown molding on the newly installed ceiling. The crew was friendly and respectful of my property and Doug checked in regularly to make sure things were progressing well and that I was satisfied. The job did take longer than the original estimate, but that was because of the issues that had to be dealt with. The work was completed for the price quoted. I will definitely contact Doug at Do It All Contractor for my next project. My confidence in contractors has been restored!"

"So - So! The overall project was just okay but not fantastic. We went with DeRisio even though he was more expensive because he seemed to know what he was talking about. At the end of the project, the brick work on the front of the building still has mortar stains although they claim they acid washed it several times. They replaced a brick door sill with a something they bent out of aluminum trim material. After repeated requests to fix it, they offered to put in a slate sill. I said that would be okay. Well, over one year later, it still isn't done. They replaced an exterior door that hasn't latched properly from the day it was installed. Great guys - but lousy workmanship. I wouldn't have them back."

"The florescent light fixture in my office is finally gone, and it was Paul and his team that defeated it!   I am a graduate student, so I spend a significant amount of time every day reading and writing.  Even though I had spent a lot of money turning the basement of my condo into an awesome n***-den, I ended up doing most of my work in the living room because the fluorescent light in that basement was just awful.
I called Paul at Exquisite Construction to see what he might recommend.  He had been out to my house before to offer an estimate on popcorn ceiling removal (something I am still going to hire him to do once I build the project budget back up).  From the start, Paul and his wife made a positive impression.  They were friendly, engaged, and genuinely excited about hearing and sharing ideas about my house.  The two of them are exactly like an HGTV show, just without the cameras. He took a look at the space and we kicked some ideas around.  I was leaning more towards installing a new "character" light fixture.  Paul recommended LED lights that sat flush to the ceiling, as they would provide more/better light (I think Paul recognized that my desire to make the space look cool was overpowering my desire to solve my initial lighting problem, haha).  We decided to do BOTH things and the result is just amazing.
Paul--as he did when he offered the quote on the popcorn removal--gave several different options and prices on the spot.  For $825, he and his team installed a new, bigger electrical box to handle the expanded lighting.  They moved it to a different point in the ceiling (to center the new "character" light fixture over my table-desk, which is the central feature of the office).  They installed the four LED lights and installed two dimmer switches, so the LEDs and the character light could be set/dimmed independently of each other.  Finally, they repaired the parts of the ceiling that they needed to go through in order to do the wiring.  They did all of this in essentially less than a day (they came at noon yesterday to accommodate my schedule, as I work nights on Monday and a Tuesday morning might kill me, haha.  They were able to do almost all of the work in 4 and a half hours.  They came back first thing this morning to wrap up the ceiling repair, which took them about an hour). 
The end result is that my office looks amazing.  The new lighting, and the added control via the dimmer switches, transformed the space so much more than I ever anticipated, and that's all down to Paul and his team for both the quality of their work and their willingness to share ideas based on their experience.  I knew that I wanted to replace a light fixture.  Paul knew that it could be even better than that, and he made it happen.
I bought my condo in 2013, and I've been looking for a "go-to" contractor--someone who could handle different kinds of projects, did good work, and most importantly--someone that seemed trust-worthy.  Paul and his team are all of those things, and I hope to keep them busy with regular projects over the next few years.
