"Tuesday night at around 5:20 pm I realized that my furnace was not working. Always a scary thought on a cold winter's night. I had never worked with Joyce, but ironically I had a regular maintenance/inspection scheduled for my furnace in a week and a half. So I called and left a message saying I had no heat. I was fully anticipating that I would not be given priority since I was not yet a customer and most likely there would be a lot of customers who had emergencies like mine. Joyce opens at 7:30 am. At 7:15 am I received a call that they could send someone out that morning much to my surprise. My furnace was repaired by 10 am that day and at a reasonable price! Alex, the gentleman who repaired the furnace, was polite and professional as was the woman I dealt with in the office. I will most likely be signing up for their maintenance plan."

"Diagnosis and repair were straightforward and the talented Mike, who has done other great work for us on our ACs, had a replacement pump in his truck. Swapped over in under an hour. Cost of the repair was quite high, mainly due to very high price they charged for the pump. A Taco pump that I could buy for $175 was priced on this repair at more than $500. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."

Their communication is outstanding from Michelle's initial visit and proposals through tank delivery by Corey and most centrally through all of Steve's installation work and coordination with inspectors, electricians and me. Two weeks later first power outage and everything worked like a charm. "Bill was willing to install a heat pump system that I purchased, even though his default was Bosch. His son and helper did the install over two days. It was getting late when they finished and the unit worked, although it whistled. I let Bill McGinley know but couldn't get them to come out to resolve the problem for over a week. Bill figured out that air was being sucked in between the top bottom front panels on the ACIQ central unit and did a workaround -- taping over it. The manufacturer ACIQ was no help in acknowledging that there was a problem with their product. I made a mistake paying on the basis of the quote rather then requiring an invoice. When I tried to apply for the NHSaves rebate, they wanted an invoice. Bill was not very responsive in sending me the invoice. He did when I told him NHSaves would be contacting him. But he was very accommodating in doing the work i wanted done instead of doing what he was used to doing."
