"Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. The Home Improvement Co. will be first on our list for consideration. Thank you, Matt, Kevin, and Rueben, for a job well done."

"The crew did a great job. They came while I was at work and thoroughly cleaned the deck (power washer, wood cleaner/brightener). They even took the time to clean under the deck (it's on a 2nd story). It took them several hours, but they got the job done. This deck is over 600 square feet with many railing spindles. The next week, they came back to stain everything. They called a couple of times during each process to check in with me, which I appreciated. I appreciated that they covered everything with tarps to make sure my house siding and garage door did not get messed up. This crew even carefully removed (and then re-installed) my existing lattice work so they could stain the vertical posts. I couldn't believe believe they were that thorough. I greatly appreciated them taking such pride in a job well done. They were polite, professional and cleaned up everything. I'd definitely recommend this company. The finished deck looks great!"

"This guy is great to work with, he does exactly what he quotes, kept us informed every step of the way, (our home is a 100 year old plus brick home which is a challenge in it self) his woodworking skills are incredible, I would recommend him to anyone that wants high quality work done on there home. "From start to finish , it went really well. I wasn't sure how to use my 8x4 closet space to its maximum. Willie came in and his eye for what would work for me was wonderful. His designs were great. The cabinet in dining room turned out perfect too. The installers were great also. Highly recommended."

"We replaced wood windows with an almond color vinyl window and I cannot believe how much the windows improved the appearance of our home. The house looks newer and brighter. Several windows on our home had broken seals and after getting two estimates for window replacements from other companies, I was very confused and frustrated. Federal Windows was the 3rd company I called for an estimate and Garry was straight forward and honest with me and answered all my questions. The night before work was scheduled to begin, I realized I had not asked what I should do to get ready for the guys to start work the next morning. I e-mailed Garry and he told me not to worry about a thing and that the guys would take care of it. And he was true to his word. They showed up right on time, were very careful to place tarps on the floors. They were courteous, very quiet, and didn't leave a trace of dirt or mess. "We used NuLook Home Service to repair a section of textured drywall in a garage ceiling, damaged du to a water leak, and to repair two failed areas in the subfloor of a bathroom. We had a very positive experience. Within minutes after submitting a request for an estimate, David (the owner) called me to discuss options. I should note that, not only was David really quick to respond, none of the other companies to whom I requested estimates bothered to contact me at all. David was able to look at pictures that I sent of the ceiling and bathroom floor and provided an initial estimate. It looked like the project would take two days to complete. We confirmed an appointment to complete the work for the next day following my initial quote request. I really did not expect service that quickly.
