"Joe DiJiosa and his crew did an excellent job building the patio, placing stepping stones and landscaping. It was a pleasure to work with them. The decision to hire Joe was based on the digital image of the patio, professionalism, reasonable estimate and reviews."

"Andrew and Kyle did a great job installing a gas line for an outside grill. They showed up on time for the estimate, provided me a quote the same day and scheduled the work within a few days. Quality of work was top-notch. Andrew also corrected issues with gas line for hot water heater and furnace from original construction free of charge. Will definitely use them for future projects."

"Our contact came out to review the project on a Sunday at 8 am (per our request). Amazing Decks took care of getting approval from our association and kept us involved during the entire process. Outstanding service and I would recommend to all. AAA+++ job. I would suggest if you are serious about getting a new deck or doing a tear down to meet with one of the reps first. Great know how, good installers and ALWAYS returns calls or emails. Found Amazing Decks on Angie's List."

"Initial contacts were OK but difficult to get time from the "designer".  The design was not to scale so we ended up doing measurements and creating our own plan.  That should have been the indication to me that detail was not the top priority of this "designer". <br /> <br /> The work crew (2 guys) was good but I was told we would get to review where the plants would be placed for final movement.  This did not happen.  They did well given that the "designer" didn't provide enough detail to them. They did go above and beyond by putting rock in our window wells around the beds, which I greatly appreciated. <br /> <br /> Overall, we are happy with the results.  It was a simple plan so hopefully not much to mess up.   <br /> <br /> I would like to post another review next summer after the plants have time to grow, or not.   <br /> <br /> We are happy we chose this provided (of the ones that actually responded to us).  However, if you ever work with them, be sure you have everything detailed so there are no questions when the work actually starts."

"We called Robert McHale to get an estimate for this job.  He arrived on time and sat with us giving us some ideas that we hadn't thought of for the project.  Robert and his team of men arrived at our home on the scheduled date, and remained on the job through to completion.   Robert was very professional and courteous, as were his team. <br />  They arrived with all of the equipment that they needed, including a port-o-potty.   They worked neatly and cleaned up each day at the end of the day.  The job was estimated to take about a week - the timeline was met!   <br /> The job looks exquisite!  Everyone in the neighborhood has commented!  I would highly recommend RM Outdoor Living <br /> <br />"

"Keystone Custom Decks has been wonderful to work with during all phases of our deck project. Ron came up with some ideas based on our list of wants for a new outdoor space. We worked on those ideas and visited the showroom several times to compare materials etc. The final design was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. All Keystone’s employees and subcontractors did a great job building the deck. The landscapers prepared the site and landscaped after the deck was complete. The concrete crew and stonemasons were excellent. The building crew, led by Reuben, was superb. Many of our friends are in construction and they all commented on the quality of work and materials. Every person from Keystone was very polite and responsive to any questions we had as the deck and patio were being built. My wife and I highly recommend Keystone Custom Decks."

"Worked primarily with Chip, John and Brian. We really wanted to get rid of our drop ceiling and the dining room and take out the wall between it and the kitchen to give us an open floor plan. We live in a house build in the 1920's so I was worried what we would find when we started opening things up. The Home Improvement Coach spent a lot of time with me prior to the project starting and because of their experience working in older homes, made me feel comfortable that if anything did come up, they could handle it. They did a fantastic job and completed the project on time and on budget. My biggest things when evaluating contractors are quality of work and communication. The Home Improvement Coach excels at both. I was happily surprised during the project at their willingness to clean up thoroughly at the end of every day. Even though they were working at the house for a couple weeks, they understood that we still had to live there and did everything they could to allow us to be comfortable in the evenings. Every time we had questions or concerns, Chip and team were quick and happy to respond. We made some changes during the project and to no surprise, they were happy to accommodate. I would highly recommend Chip and look forward to having them back to renovate our kitchen."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Broomall, PA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
