"Leak was found and plugged in light fixture (broken conduit, most likely). Arnold was very professional and thorough, kept checking all possible problems even after he found the leak, and let us know the rest of our pool plumbing was in good shape. Gave us advice to keep an eye on possible problems. Charge was a little higher because we have a combination inground spa with our pool, meaning more plumbing to check. Very happy with results."

"I have used Phillip several times for screen panel replacement. First time for a full re-screen. He came out for the review and offered a few options. I went with a full re-screen. Phillip and his team should up on time for the agreed date. The team was communicative, and cleaned up, even skimming the pool. Excellent quality - great rates!"

We offer an overheat protection switch to keep your pumps protected. Our price point is far better than what would cost you to replace your well and centrifugal pumps. Preventive care is always better than reactive care. Aside from distributors and pump manufacturers, we don't have return clientele because our switch works perfectly. 5 minute installation and a product made in USA that is less than $200. Patented product.

"We replaced all of the tile in our pool. The tile work looks beautiful and was completed efficiently and professionally. The pandemic supply chain issues caused a delay in the availability of the pool surfacing material, but Motta pool traveled all the way to Miami to obtain the material as soon as it could be obtained which was very much appreciated. Overall we were very pleased with the work and would highly recommend"

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!! "I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Total Home Roofing. In January I found out that my Wind Storm coverage would be dropped unless I installed a new flat roof on my back porch by April 1. I researched on Angie’s List, Yelp, etc. and found several companies that were highly recommended, including Total Home Roofing. I ended up getting a few quotes that were similar to the quote I received from Total Home, but the reason I chose them was their professionalism. Several of these ‘highly recommended’ roofers never returned phone calls or emails, another cancelled his first appointment then was a no show for a second, and yet another never called back with an estimate, despite a very lengthy and professional initial phone call. Total Home Roofing, on the other hand, was incredibly professional from the start. They immediately returned texts and phone calls, and all of their in-person appointments were scheduled for specific times, not “I’ll be there sometime between 1 PM and 5 PM.” They were always on time and called a few hours in advance to confirm appointments. It was this professionalism that tilted my decision in their favor, and boy did it pay off. My roof was scheduled to be installed on March 30, but Florida began shutting down non-essential services due to Covid-19 the week of March 23. My anxiety about meeting the April 1 deadline shot through the roof. But the team at Total Home Roofing went out of their way to help me with this time crunch. They sent out extra workers to speed up the install and worked diligently with my local inspectors to make sure they signed off on each day’s work so they could proceed to the next step. In the end Total Home met these deadlines, the inspectors came out and approved on time, and my Wind Storm policy was renewed. I had a great experience with Total Home Roofing, from my first phone call to the final interactions with local inspectors, all while Florida was under incredible stress from the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. Craig, Carlos, Gibrand and all the ladies in the office (sorry, I forgot to get their names) went above and beyond. They went out of their way to be kind, helpful and professional. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

FAQs for swimming pool or accessories repair or service projects in Bryceville, FL

A well-maintained, correctly sized pump lasts eight to 12 years. Help it reach the upper end of that range by cleaning the strainer basket, monitoring for unusual sounds, and verifying that the pump’s flow rate matches the filter's specifications. Address leaks or pressure dips quickly—minor fixes now cost far less than a premature replacement later.

Listen for grinding or screeching, watch for breaker trips, and keep an eye on sudden spikes in your electric bill—any one of these signals the pump needs attention. If repairs continue to accumulate or the unit is older than eight years, replacement often makes more financial sense. Contact a qualified pool repair professional immediately to diagnose the issue and prevent further damage to the filter or plumbing.

It’s best to keep your pool pump on while swimming. Keeping the pump on while you swim allows the filter and skimmers to catch debris in real-time, maintaining water features flowing. It’s not mandatory, but weaving swim time into your regular eight-to-12-hour schedule helps maintain crystal-clear water and consistent chemical levels without extra effort.

Start by shutting off the power at the breaker and verifying with a voltage meter. Close the water valves, bleed pressure, and unbolt the old pump. Wire the new unit according to the manufacturer's diagram, glue in the PVC unions, prime the housing, and tighten everything securely. Open the valves, flip the breaker, and watch for steady water flow and quiet operation. If any step feels beyond your expertise, consider hiring a licensed electrician or pool technician.
