The repairperson from Blue Fox indicated the compressor was fine, but that there was a refrigerant leak or low refrigerant, and recharged the unit (which worked for about one month -- it probably does have a refrigerant leak). Even though we will likely need to replace the unit, we appreciate that Blue Fox seemed to have diagnosed the issue correctly."

"I use Anderson for regular maintenance on a rental property. Almost every time they have done work they have tried to overcharge me. The first time they told me I needed a new compressor ($2,000-$3,000) or a whole new unit ($4,000). At that point I contacted a second company and they came by and told me I only needed to recharge the unit. To their credit, when Anderson discovered the error, they refunded all charges for the visit and gave me a free air filter. Another time they came by and tried to charge me for the wrong type of refrigerant (which is more expensive) which I had to catch and correct. They also have had a hard time keeping track of my annual maintenance contract. As someone on contract, I receive discounts on services and pay annually for two visits to check my A/C and furnace. However, these discounts are almost never applied without me complaining, and most recently they tried to charge me an extra $129 dollars for a visit I was already owed based on my annual service plan. Again, when I point out the errors they are usually pretty helpful, but I have really had to watch them to make sure I am not being overcharged every time they visit. It's disappointing, but I stick with them because they seem to have the best prices."

Very clean and  work done in a very timely manner.  I had estimates for a new furnace only and the cost was going to be around $4,500.00.  That did not include anything done on the air conditioner or new gas line.  I have not had any problems with my new system.  He installed another furnace for me at a rental property. "CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
