"Zen Windows replaced the windows on our 60+ year old house. The crew was friendly and courteous, the quality of work was excellent, and they did an outstanding job cleaning up. I accidentally over-paid, and would never have know if Dan had not called me about it and written a check to square things up. It was an outstanding customer experience and I would hire them again in a second."

"Thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of Nick's service. He was on-time, professional, courteous and clearly communicating the scope of the job. What's more he completed the job for less than his original estimate! How great is that? Finally, not only was his plumbing workmanship first rate but he cleverly reinstalled an undersink rev-a-shelf trash basket better than originally installed. He finished the job by not only by cleaning up but also thoroughly drying up. This is the first time I've hired Nick, based largely on what I now consider well founded on-line recommendations. I will definitely use him again for future plumbing work. He is an exceptional hand. <br /> <br />"

"When we decided to replace all 19 of our windows, we had already decided to call Ringer, who had done the windows in my brother's house, and my parents' house, with rave reviews from them. Georgia came out and gave us a quote for the windows plus a sliding patio door. Fast forward 11 months (pandemic, supply chain issues, a bit of a mix-up on Ringer's end), and our windows and door have been installed. During the time we were waiting, we got 2 letters from Ringer, explaining what was going on. Ringer makes their own windows, and they were working overtime, training new teams to do a quality job, waiting for glass orders to come in, etc. Greg Ringer responded to my emails, and eventually I ended up getting calls from Jake. Toward the end we were getting impatient and crabby, but let me tell you that the end result was so great that we are very happy. I'm pleased to be able to honestly write a good review. We were able to tell immediately that cold air is no longer coming in at the window and door frames. The panes of glass don't feel as cold to the touch. The dogs are a bit sad that the hot sun is no longer beating in for them to bask in! All of the windows are finished beautifully - great job fitting/caulking/sealing. Our house had a couple of oddities which the crew were able to take care of perfectly. We had some fake windows right in the front of our house, which had screens and curtains, backed by drywall. They were able to switch gears for a little while so I could go out and buy some blinds to replace the 40-some-year-old curtains that had been sealed inside. They installed the blinds for us. We have a bay window, and they had to replace all of the framing for that. The huge blind that covered the bay window was damaged, and they actually made new brackets to get it back up and functioning. Ringer took down all of our blinds and put them back up as they were working. Throughout the process, the crew put down moving blankets inside and outside to keep everything clean. They picked up all the trash. Only one or two panes of glass got broken when they were removing old windows, and all of that was cleaned up. Everyone was friendly, and communication was very good. It took 2.5 days to get all of our work done. There were only 2 tiny details that needed fixing, and they came out the very next day and took care of everything. The windows have a lifetime warranty as long as we live in our house, and if we ever sell the house, the new owners can get a 10-year warranty at no cost. Our Ringer windows were worth the wait."

"We are so happy with our new windows! We feel not only the quality is excellent but the service from the beginning to end of installation excelled our expectations. We actually expected to have to do repair work on window sills as well as have to repaint other areas, but we were so wrong. The crew was so good (on time and worked diligently all day) that minimal repair, if any, is really needed. We would highly recommend Energy One for replacement of high quality windows and exceptional installation."

"I was very wonderfully pleased when Taz and Jody came to replace all my windows with Renewal by Anderson windows. Taz and Jody worked well together, focused on the job at hand while, at the same time, being very pleasant to interact with. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my windows AND knowing that reliable and capable people, Taz and Jody, did the installation."

"We just built a new house. The model unit had shutters and we loved the look. We started taking bids before we closed on our house. It took Costco 5 days to get us a quote. Budget blinds was our last bid. Rex came onsite and had a bid for us in 20 mins. He was efficient and very professional. Rex had the lowest bid by $600 (including Costco). We didnt fell pressured in any way. After more research the shutters are the same Norman (top of the line) shutters we were quoted by other companies. We signed the contract with Budget Blinds. Rex was very upfront with us that these are custom shutters and it will take 6-8 weeks. We receive a call 1 week earlier than we thought. The installers came out with in days. we had one small leak in one of the windows. I asked the installers to install all the windows except the leaking window (until builder fix leak), Mary (Rex wife) emailed me the next day to see how everything went and to call her to schedule the final shutter install. Working with Rex and Mary has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Budget Blinds."

"Dlayton Contracting was a very good company to work with. Workers were easy to have around. Work was thorough and well done. Owner provided recommendations on chimney area design, and reinforced with better flashing to stop a leak problem. They removed rotten wood and replaced. Additional work done on dormers to replace old wood with hardie plank. Paint was applied as needed. Owner had foreman come back and touch up a couple of areas he was not satisfied with. All very professionally handled! We expect to have them back to re-roof a smaller rental place."

"Adrian and Jean did a fantastic job. The guys worked hard and did not quit in the heat of the day. My windows had not been cleaned for 5 or 6 years and were just filthy. When they were done, they really did seem to sparkle, and I feel like I have a new patio!! Wonderful and reliable company. I highly recommend them. I had "the works" done, but Sam the owner broke down the costs so that I could have chosen to have some things done but not others."

"Lico responded to me immediately and explained that if I gave him approximate sizes for the windows, he would provide an email estimate. Once I sent the sizes, he sent the estimate right away. When we chose to use this company, the measurer/installer contacted me within a day. Within a few days, they had measured and provided screen samples. A week or so later, the work was completed. There were a few issues I wanted addressed, and they responded immediately! Within a day, the installer returned and took care of the issues to my great satisfaction."

"I am always hesitant to start these projects because of the horror stories of prices changing at the last minute and shoddy work. Plus, I am very careful about who is in my home. Gary set my mind at ease from the time he came for the estimate and out of seven companies I had come by and give quotes he was the only one to offer new ideas and time/money saving options. I had not thought of leaving a nook and shelf in the new upstairs room and had not thought of how my original design would impede getting furniture in and out of the new room. Gary?s ideas helped solve the problem and saved me money. I also felt extremely comfortable with his experience, knowledge, and general demeanor. His quote was very competitive and I knew right away I wanted Noah?s Ark to do the work.  <br /> The team that performed the work was very courteous and professional. They left the place clean and did the work it takes to minimize dust and debris in the rest of the house during a remodel like this. The construction went well and was done with care to make sure it was done right and would last. You would think the new room was part of the house from the day it was built if you had not seen the house before. That was my biggest concern and after all was done we were all very pleased with the results. The texture and paint professional, Juan, took his time and made sure everything was right. It was obvious that he cared about the kind of work he was doing and it showed. We will be calling Noah?s Ark again when we have other painting projects.  <br /> There was a delay in getting the project done, mostly due to a special order on the door we needed in order to match the rest of the house. The door had to be made for the project and shipped, so it delayed the installation and completion by some days. This did not alter the quoted price, however, and as this is my house and I plan on being here for a long time, I wanted it done right and not just quickly. I value quality over speed in that regard. Overall I was very happy with the end result and am thankful I now have a go-to person for projects like this in the future. It takes a lot of the stress out of a project when you have someone you know and trust to do it right.  <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Buda, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
