"From our first contact until the technician arrived, the company was constantly in contact with us. Either by phone or email. When our technician, Jeff Sims arrived, on time I might add, he immediately assessed the situation and evaluated the issues we had with our current system and identified it's shortcomings as well as its' strengths. Since our Sears Craftsman opener was 17 years old and we had long since given up on Sears being of any help with replacement parts for it, we chose to go with his recommendation of a Liftmaster 8355 garage door opener. In less than an hour Jeff removed the old opener and had the new opener installed and operational. He then spent a good deal of time explaining all of the features of the new system, its operation and sync'd the opener with my wife's car. Needless to say she was quite happy. I would certainly seek Garage Door Specialist's assistance in the future and have already recommended them to a number of neighbors."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Brian and Sarah Brice were amazing to work with.  If we had any questions, they quickly responded to our calls or text. They take pride in their products and workmanship. They have high standards and will not settle for less.   Their employees were kind.  We have dogs and they would work with us so we could let our dogs out into the fenced in back yard for a potty break.  They always cleaned up the work site after a days work.  
I would highly recommend them to anyone! We love our "new house".  We have already noticed a decrease in our energy use.  Great job, great employees and great company!!!"
