Prior to installation of downspouts the crew discussed placement and color options with me and explained their planned approach for the underground piping. I was very impressed that installers would take the time and show the concern to engage with the home owner at the time of installation to verify that the placement and color were satisfactory. After the gutter installation a heavy rainstorm tested the system and resulted in a few minor leaks that the contractor promptly resolved. All ground work was leveled and shrubbery returned to the flower beds. The work included removing dry wall and paneling from the exterior walls of the basement. They trenched around the exterior, installed 2 sumps and drainage channels, replaced 6 window wells, added new drain to the sump in the exterior stairwell, covered exterior walls with moisture barrier, and repaired the concrete. All work was completed in the 5 days scheduled. They communicated well and answered all my questions and concerns.
