While Steve is a local small business owner, Zen is a national franchise who would honor these guarantees should Steve retire or close his local shop. Almost six months in, we are very happy with our windows and even happier with our overall experience with Zen. We would highly recommend them! Sales consultation is knowledgeable and insightful, running several quotes and configurations to find the right balance of price, style and window fabrication, even identifying, proactively, that I would likely need wall repair during installation due to rot. "First, I did not comment above on the price or quality of the windows because I really  don't know enough about window to have an opinion. The windows are Marvin brand windows which I recognize as a "brand" name with, as far as I have ever heard,  a good reputation. The pricing was approved by the insurance company so that was good enough for me. The main reason I went with Window Replacement Company was that I was comfortable dealing with Peter Hill, the owner/president. <br /> Overall, the whole process was pretty uneventful. I asked Peter all the questions I could think of, he was very patient and answered all my questions. Peter and his crew arrived at the time agreed upon and everything proceeded smoothly. The crew seemed well organized, skillful and worked steadily through the day. When they were finished they cleaned up after themselves and left. "Working with them was great! They were flexible when making arrangements to visit the house, very thorough in checking the detail on the blind that we would need to order. Sadly, they are not allowed (per vendor) to repair one of the specific blind sets (Levolor), but the Hunter Douglas we replaced looks great, and they made sure our current blinds were also bracketed well! "Kind thoughtful service. Work space was surprisingly very clean. All three guys were clearly efficient and moving quickly but also very diligent in their work so you knew no mistakes were occurring for the sake of speed. My two little boys were constantly under foot but all the guys would give smiles and gently move around them or let them by (which they didn’t need to do!) and did nothing to compromise safety. Loved their attitudes their work ethic and patience. It was noted one was on his first day, which was hard to believe. Never a harsh word spoken or questionable quality.
