"Excellent. I would recommend Dennis and his crew to anyone. They did a fantastic job in a timely manner and helped get me and my dog reunited in our comfy new home. He also communicated with me regularly so that I always knew what was going on. Thank you Dennis!"

"Project took only a small bit longer than projected but much of that was due to slow delivery of certain supplies due to the pandemic. We were very pleased with the timing. I do encourage all project managers to over-communicate with the home-owners. Our only frustration was not being fully included in daily schedules. We would definitely hire Dave Johnson Building/Remodeling again."

"Kaydn repaired water damage in the ceiling. Sheetrock was replaced and it looks great. We really like doing business with Kaydn. He's polite, does what he says he's going to do, and was able to do the work quickly. We will continue to use him for other work."

Customers say: Quick response

"Please be cautious in regards to hiring this contractor. He will provide a contract for both parties to sign, but once the job was completed he requested additional compensation for the work performed and increased the material expenses. I needed to seek legal counsel."

We design it in our own kitchen design software, with 3D renderings and wall-by-wall layouts, then hand you a real cabinet package to build from. That means a complete cabinet schedule, sized and specified for your room, not a rough guess.\n\nWe work with established cabinet lines, including shaker, painted, and wood finishes, and every design comes with a budget range before final supplier pricing. Whether you're remodeling, replacing cabinets, or planning a kitchen in new construction, you start with a design you can actually see.\n\nStarting your design takes about ten minutes, and it's free with no obligation. FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Bustins-island, ME

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
