"It was a very good car delivery. I was told by my brother on the WA end that he had no issues with the haulers, and that they were quite helpful and freely shared any info he was looking for. The same with them on my end; they got the car here earlier than they had told my brother they would and there were no issues or hassles. Also, I wanted to thank Ely (I'm pretty sure that was his name) in the office there in FL. He was on top of scheduling the move, and keeping me in the loop, even after hurricane Maria had just gone through causing the damage that she did. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone needing car transportation."

"Reliable came in a timely matter. They informed me step by step of the plan. They took time to show me how to use the thermostat. Also, they followed up with me after the work was done. The price was very reasonable compared to others."

"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"<p>From the moment I called Bruce Davenport, he was prompt and courteous.  He was very honest and upfront about the possibility of the French door becoming more work once he removed it.  It turned out that he was correct.  We had significant water damage to the back of our house.  He got started right away in replacing the damaged wood.  Since Bruce, Matt, and Gary were working on repairs from the water damage, we asked them to add on a roof to our back deck.  Bruce was very helpful in making recommendations and giving us advice on all of the repairs and upgrades.  Bruce, Matt, and Gary all did a superior job.  As a matter of fact, my mother-in-law saw the great work they did and had them replace a roof and floor support to her barn/shed.  We will definitely be calling Davenport Remodeling & Construction again.  </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Butler, GA

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
