"Brad is great. He is knowledgeable about his craft, he is extremely flexible and willing to work around his customers scheduales, he is timely, honest, and genuinely cares about helping make a space feel like home. Brad painted my entire home, and as it was a new build, he knew the house would begin “to settle” in coming years and some paint may crack-from no fault of his own. So, he reached out to me multiple times and offered to back come and do touch ups-which he did- and my place looks amazing. I cannot reccomend Brad enough!"

"Randy did an amazing job! Our basement was partially finished. We wanted the drop ceiling removed, walls studded and dry walled, create a full bathroom and closet. This space would become our master bedroom and ensuite. Time wasn't an issue for us but was completed in a satisfactory time frame. The area under reno was kept very clean each day, when we would come home to check out the progress. The master bedroom was framed (over the styrofoam insulation and existing drywall from the 60's) and the entire room got new drywall. Drop ceiling removed and drywall ceiling with can lights replaced it. New bathroom area was plumbed and created to our own design, including a water closet. All new trim throughout. New vinyl plank flooring installed in the bathroom, closet and laundry. Our new space looked amazing when complete and we couldn't be happier! We unfortunately had some water damage shortly after and Randy came back out to do some touch up work for us. We would definitely recommend!! Price was also extremely reasonable!"

"My handyman, shopped, for paint supplies, got solid wooden doors, made sure of hinges. he then worked in 90 degree weather, got sun burned and after 8.5 hours , my doors were painted and perfectly hung. He worked, stopping for one short break. I could not be happier with the outcome. I would definitely use and recommend this service again."

"It was pretty good. They came back and redid some work, it was pretty impressive. They came out to inspect the work and they actually redid stuff without me having to pay. I had to wait a few months for them. The workers were good. They need to use a more experienced contractor. I wouldn't automatically go to them but I would get quotes from them."

"Ted and Mack are fantastic people - hands down the best contractors my wife and I have worked with over the years. They completed a four-month renovation of the lower level walkout of our home in Ada. From the design phase in partnership with their contracted designer, Kristie Koning (who's also a rockstar btw!), to the actual construction, Ted, Mack, and the entire crew were phenomenal. They are true craftsman, providing significant attention to detail and quality. We really enjoyed the collaborative nature of the relationship. They would listen to our ideas and we'd work together to find the optimal solution or design that would fit our budget and desired end result. Lastly, the communication and timeliness of Ted, Mack, and their subs was impeccable. You hear horror stories of contractors deprioritizing projects or taking on too much - this was not that case. I could always get a hold of Ted and/or Mack immediately or within a few hours of contacting them, and they were always on the job on time with minimal disruption to our overall schedule! I'd hire PCR again in a heartbeat!"

"Hiring Melvin Belk Roofing to do my gutters was a great decision. The gutters look great and they were professional during the whole process, especially Andrew Belk. There was just something about him that made me comfortable. He came out and gave me an accurate quote when estimating the job. Andrew and his crew were knowledgeable, timely, and did a great job. I would recommend Melvin Belk Roofing to anyone in need of roofing, siding or gutters."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Byron-center, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
