"Well, I had a hidden problem that I was not aware of and signs of an infestation that I never experienced. I got 3 quotes to replace some dry rotting wood , Sauba construction was the first to answer through Angi’s list. They let me know the problem I was experiencing was a termites infestation that had been active for a few years and all damaged wood should be replaced with pressure treated wood. My entire stair case leading to the basement had to be removed, a couple support beams, the half wall at top of the stairs and part of my pantry wall. I couldn’t believe the termite damage happening right under my nose. They replaced everything to look like new. Keep in mind that we were learning the extent of the damages as they continued the demolition. They gave me updated pricing as they discovered more bad wood. Remember, I had 3 quotes for this job. Sauba’s final charge was much lower than the starting cost of the other 2 contractors. Sauba construction made the renovation affordable."

"Overall had a great experience using Randy and Trent as the contractors for our basement renovation. Randy was very responsive and prompt coming out to give us a free estimate on the work required. He came out within the week to take measurements and draw up rough plans for the renovation. After a few days for him to get estimates on materials and sub contractors Randy came back to go over the details of the quote. He was very knowledgeable and upfront about what work he would be completing and what would be sub-contracted. We were on a tight time frame for when we needed the work completed by and Randy went out of his way to put us on the schedule quickly. In all honesty he kept to his time schedule the best he could, the major constraints were generally involved with scheduling from the sub-contractors (excavation for our egress window, plumbers, and electricians). We did have one run in and set back with one of the sub-contractors and Randy advocated for us, and made sure that we were taken care of. He handled it very professionally and made sure we were satisfied with the final work and resolution. We were very impressed with Randy's ability to stick to a budget, and to communicate if something we wanted done would be an extra (we had a lot of those extras!). Over our eight week renovation we grew to look forward to Randy and Trent's arrival. Always jovial and out going they never made us feel out of place in our own home. If anything, it was a bitter sweet day when they completed the work as we felt like the were almost family towards the end of the project. If you are looking for a hardworking, professional contractor with years of experience that does great work at a reasonable price, Home Maintenance Service is for you. "My handyman, shopped, for paint supplies, got solid wooden doors, made sure of hinges. he then worked in 90 degree weather, got sun burned and after 8.5 hours , my doors were painted and perfectly hung. He worked, stopping for one short break. I could not be happier with the outcome. I would definitely use and recommend this service again."

"It was pretty good. They came back and redid some work, it was pretty impressive. They came out to inspect the work and they actually redid stuff without me having to pay. I had to wait a few months for them. The workers were good. They need to use a more experienced contractor. I wouldn't automatically go to them but I would get quotes from them."

They completed a four-month renovation of the lower level walkout of our home in Ada. From the design phase in partnership with their contracted designer, Kristie Koning (who's also a rockstar btw!), to the actual construction, Ted, Mack, and the entire crew were phenomenal. They are true craftsman, providing significant attention to detail and quality. We really enjoyed the collaborative nature of the relationship. They would listen to our ideas and we'd work together to find the optimal solution or design that would fit our budget and desired end result. Lastly, the communication and timeliness of Ted, Mack, and their subs was impeccable. You hear horror stories of contractors deprioritizing projects or taking on too much - this was not that case. I could always get a hold of Ted and/or Mack immediately or within a few hours of contacting them, and they were always on the job on time with minimal disruption to our overall schedule! I'd hire PCR again in a heartbeat!"
