"Fencescape did a wonderful job by replacing our existing fence with a brand new, board-on-board fence. They built it on-site, and then replaced our gate with a much heavier gate that is reinforced with metal piping. They were competitively priced, arrived on time, performed the work as proposed, installed a high quality fence, and cleaned up their mess upon completion. We dealt with Wayne Jimerson, who is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I highly recommend Fencescape."

"Clint (Owner) from got fence was a joy to work with. Clint understands what a customer is looking for when it comes to service, quality and responsiveness. I am a new homeowner and Clint gave me excellent guidance on how to get my HOA to approve my fence installation quickly. I will recommend Clint to all of my friends and family. Clint even helped me fix another issue on my home and was happy to do so. Very pleased with the service and fence (which is beautiful btw)."

"We hired them to perimeter fence our farm with no climb horse wire with wood on top. Approximately 7 acres of that type of fence. We also have a 13 acre pasture that we wanted fenced in RAMM flex fence. I specifically asked if they had experience with RAMM because it works on a tension system and needs to be installed specifically according to the manufacturer. Melanie said they did have experience with it and it would be no problem. While the crew did a good job on the perimeter fencing, they had no idea what they were doing with the RAMM fencing. They didn't brace corners/gates properly, and I had to hire another company to uninstall and reinstall what was messed up. And when I went to pay Melanie the final payment, there was an additional $4000+ added to her original quote. She said she had missed 200 feet of fencing when she did the estimate."

"Brian Evans, the owner, was quick to respond to our inquiry for a new fence. He provided a quote for a vinyl and wooden fence after visiting our property. Within a week he started the project and it was completed within 2 days. We are very satisfied with the work he and his assistant did and would definitely consider him for future projects. Easy and pleasant to work with!"

"Joe did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. He contacted me quickly after I requested a quote, and had the entire job completed in 4 days. He was professional and arrived on time each day. He paid attention to detail and always cleaned up after himself. I am so happy with the work he did, and will definitely contact him for projects in the future."

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Callahan, FL

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
