"After having a little problem with the contract, Heather managed to get the problems straightened out. Correct dates and materials were corrected.The crew showed up on time but then had to go get additional materials to start the job.. No project manager was on sight until latter in the afternoon..The five crew members started the job . I made a few suggestions on how I wanted the job to be done and they were very agreeable..The crew was very precise in their work..The job was to put vinyl siding on chimney to match existing siding on the house…This group of five workers did a WONDERFUL JOB…I couldn’t be happier with the work that they provided…The cleanup afterwards was like they were never there…PERFECT ….Andy the project manager did show up and was helpful,,but really didn’t stay very long…Thank you …to Heather for all she did to make this jod less stressful..Very,,Very… Pleased with the outcome of this job….And yes….i would recommend this company and this CREW for any siding job."

"Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."

"Very happy with the results and the process was easy and smooth. George Jr showed up to do the consult, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were not the lowest quote we received but they were the best at communication and wanting to earn our business. As sales people, my wife and I appreciate professionals that still go out of their way to earn business. They were even able to get in and do the job before the Thanksgiving holiday which was only a few weeks from the consult and was very important to my wife, as we had 14 people coming to Thanksgiving dinner. She is also pregnant and they offered us products that would not be harmful to her or the baby, but she ended up being out of town the days they were here so we stuck to the normal paint, but really appreciated the effort to accommodate us.
   The workers showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked hard and were very fast. I was amazed they finished everything in 2 days considering the size of the area they were painting and the number of cabinets and trim we had. The workers were respectful when moving and covering our belongings before and after painting. They were always laughing and smiling during the job, which is good to see, it hopefully mean they enjoy what they're doing and the quality shows. George and his son would pop in from time to time to check in and make sure everything was going well and that we were happy with the progress.
   All in all, very happy! Would recommend to anyone! If fact, we need new granite.....you know how it goes, first new appliances, which means new paint, which means new counter tops and so forth, but George Jr mentioned they can help us with that and we will probably be giving them our business for that job as well. "Hammer and Nail contacted me within 10 minutes of my submission of an online request  for information. That right off the bat impressed me as two other contractors I contacted prior to Hammer and Nail never contacted me back even after I left them voice messages. Hammer and Nails sales rep Nikos came to my home and showed and explained to me all of my product choices and then spent a significant amount of time measuring and remeasuring the monster size door to be replaced.  Prior to my door order being submitted, another Hammer and Nail employee came to re-measure and confirm the original measurements. Due to the size of the door (and double screen doors) and transom it was pretty much a custom built door and it did take about 6 weeks for the door to be delivered from the Marvin factory but I was informed by Nikos that that would be the case and I had no objections to the time frame. Once the door arrived, the construction staff quickly scheduled installation. James and his install crews showed up exactly on time. James and his crew were very courteous and took great measures to protect my floors before demolition of the existing door. The guys did an excellent job of installing the new doors and transom. James himself made sure that the screen doors latched properly and that the doors were aligned perfectly. The crew used spray float insulation instead of cramming in little pieces of fiberglass insulation. The crew did a great job caulking the walls inside and out and cleaned up after themselves before they left. I am so pleased by this experience with Hammer and Nail that I will be calling them in the near future to replace my basement door.
