Small jobs welcome

Been in the handyman field for a while with some experience in deck building, siding, trim(interior and exterior), backsplash and tile work as well. Ive done some plumbing and garage door services and now for full time I build high end metal building! Quality and ingenuity is always in mind so you or the next customer loves their long term project!

Tiles in place and ready for grout. Adjustable fixtures were put in to maintain proper spacing with the new thicker backsplash

"<hr /> After obtaining several quotes for the project we ultimately decided to use Outdoor Escapes for our projects.  Many of the other contractors were focused on just the patio with no landscaping or lavish landscaping with minimal patio features.  Matt listened to what we wanted and brought us a design that we loved that was also well within our budget. He willingly took us to see work he has done in the area and walked us through the project. The patio was installed in just over a month and without issue. His crew was polite and professional throughout the process.   <br /> We are currently using Outdoor Escapes as our lawn service for shrub trimming, mulching and weekly lawn mowing. He also takes care of our snow removal in the winter. Matt is always quick to respond to any requests or concerns when he is contacted."

"I was very pleased with the individual. There was a portion of brick that was done next to the garage door. He did it in such a way that it looked like the other. It matched what was already there. It was done very neatly. He actually reinforced it better than the builder. He cleaned up after himself."

"We had 3 bids for our patio- and we chose Builder's Stone and Masonry because of their promptness in returning our call and coming out for a bid.  The bid was actually several thousand dollars less than our other bids.  We worked with Chad- and he was wonderful!!!  He stopped by frequently to check on the progress and called every day to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns.  The work crew was friendly and efficient.  We are shocked at how incredible our patio looks for such a fair price.  We ABSOLUTELY recommend this company for any stone work."

"I went to Cripple Creek Rock Company to look at materials for building a retaining wall to prevent an erosion issue in my front yard.  At first I was going to do the work myself... but I've already got too many projects and too little time, so I asked them for a landscape contractor recommendation.  By The Blade Landscaping was the name of the contractor that they recommended highly for completing this type of work. <br /> Being an Angie's List member, obviously the first thing I did was go home and check them out.  Quite a few C's, D's and F's -- uh oh, not good.  It took another trip back to Cripple Creek, and yet another strong recommendation by their staff, before I decided to bite the bullet and give By The Blade a try. <br /> As it turned out, I made the right choice.  First, after hearing that I wanted the stone retaining wall to coordinate as closely as possible with the stonework on the front of my house, he recommended a different material than what I had chosen.  I went back to Cripple Creek (a third time) to look at his recommended material, and it was indeed a much better match, and no significant difference in price. <br /> With an unseasonably warm March, an opportunity presented itself to get the job done earlier than I had thought.  Called Patrick, and set-up a date and time for the installation.  He and his employees were here when promised, and after walking through the job once again to make sure that we were on the same page, they got started.  Three days later, the job was done, and it was done right -- not just in appearance, but in proper construction technique for a retaining wall.  While this job required a lot of earth-moving, they finished off the job properly with mesh underlay to help hold the upper soil until grass grows back in, and leveled everything out properly both above and below the new wall. <br /> One thing to be aware of: he is definitely into the practice of suggestive upselling.  He's persuasive but not pushy, and I didn't mind at all - the guy's in business and he has every right to try to suggest other ways to make an extra buck.  I even had him provide a quote for the flagstone pathway he was recommending, but in the end, I just had him do the retaining wall work to stay within my budget. <br /> In summary, while other Angie's List members may have had difficulties in the past, my own experience in the present with Patrick and his employees at By The Blade Landscaping was an "all A's" experience.  I would call him back to perform other work for me (perhaps that flagstone pathway someday) without hesitation and with confidence."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Camden-point, MO

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
