"Karol is a very nice guy to work with. He is approachable, easy to communicate with. He goes through the project from end to end on our first visit, explain how he would build the frame, cut the wood, the timeline. He also finds a stone guy and coordinates the work. When actually doing the work, he puts cardboards on our floor to avoid scratching. Upon request, he also did a prototype for us, and when we change our mind to use a different style, he redoes the bulk of the project. I would recommend Karol to anyone who needs carpenter work!"

"The attic fan went very well. Troy was able to isolate and seal the flashing issue that was causing our roof leak, however after further investigation, requiring the removal of some siding, we found some more serious structural damage to the studs in the wall. This seemed to be a beyond his expertise as a 1-man job, so we opted to have him stop there and will bring in a construction contractor to make these repairs. We are very pleased with the work Troy did and would not hesitate to contact him again. We are grateful he was dedicated enough to look into the damage further, otherwise we never would have seen the interior damage."

"As most of us know when we do a remodeling project, it is real hard to find good and honest people to complete your project. Fortunately, I found Leo and Yonathan from SkyTech Builders to help me with remodeling and repairing two of the bathrooms in my family's 4-Plex building. They were very honest, polite and helpful each step of the process from start to finish. The are very patient and suggested materials and design but always thinking about quality and your budget. "Zacharias Remodeling Construction did an outstanding job remodeling my mom‘s kitchen in July 2025. Oscar, the contractor, was professional, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish. His team was meticulous with every detail and always arrived on time which made the entire process, smooth and stress-free. This was especially important to me as I had experienced a contracting company in the past where the workers did not show up on time (or at all), cut corners, and it made for a lousy 2 months. "It was a challenging time to undertake this project between COVID, engineering errors (not the builder), labor shortages, and the price of lumber. I would not say it was easy, but the end result is a very well built, comfortable, attractive, and energy efficient living space. I learned a lot from this project and provided feedback to the contractor about what I didn't know about the process when we began and what others would benefit from. One key item is a clear list of what the "finishing" materials are and a schedule indicating when these materials are needed. I recommend that anyone working on a building project of this intensity insist upon a detailed list as part of the contract and in advance of the work beginning. Since our work was done, this contractor has hired two additional people to focus on those types of needs. The people performing the labor were always polite, friendly and respectful of masking and social distancing. We felt comfortable with them around our home. One thing that could have been better is more orderly disposal of materials and separation of recyclable and non-recyclable items."

"We just finished to build an ADU in the backyard with ON Design & Remodeling. In the beginning we met Aviv and he guided us with his team along the design process. They helped us to get the permit faster and choosing all the visible materials before starting the work. During the construction we received weekly updates regards the process so we always knew what to expect. We build the unit for my parents and they are so happy with their new small home, and to share the yard together with us. Currently we are in the planning process to remodel our main resident kitchen with ON team, so obviously we are so happy working with this amazing team."

"I hired Lecut Construction to remodel my entire home including 3 bathrooms, kitchen, flooring and carpeting. They are very knowledgeable and were very clear in communication. They gave us full freedom in choosing our designs and modeled and constructed exactly like how we wanted them, without changing the price on the initial contract. They kept on their schedule without slipping up. In addition, it's been more than a year and I can still call them anytime if there is any issue and they would come and fix the minor issues without any charge."

"First of all, these guys are rockstars. I never thought that I will say this about contractors - but they really impressed us with their professionalism and quality of work. We bought a new house with a big yard for our kids to run around (realizations during the pandemic), but it meant that we had to compromise on the quality of the house interior. It looked really old and didn't look renovated after it was build in the 60s. I started talking to general contractors to get it remodelled and was shocked by the timelines and prices being quoted. I found Ohad (owner of Quartz Construction) via yelp reviews and what struck me most was that everyone was commenting on his clear communication. We had done a remodel of our townhome in the past and it was not a great experience since the contractor kept changing timelines and prices in the middle of the job. My wife and I went to their office and had a detailed conversation with Ohad on what we were looking for. We had just a vague idea of what we wanted and this is where Ohad really helped us. He worked with us to create a plan on how we can make the home better and he even played the role of the designer to change the layout to create a new bedroom and bathroom. Post that, he drafted up everything and gave us a detailed quote on everything. 1. Remove 2 fireplaces and an indoor bbq pit within the home. 2. Change complete flooring. 3. Remove the popcorn cieling (and asbestos) and put new cieling. 4. Complete remodel of kitchen including structural changes. 5. Complete remodel of 2 bathrooms. 6. Construction of a new room and bathroom (with structural change). 7. Remodel the laundry room and guest washroom. 8. Recess lights across the house (close to 80 + recess lights across the house). 9. Painting interior and exterior. 10. New sub-panel for appliances. 11. All the required permits for these. Ohad a quoted a very reasonable price for all of this and he quoted 2 months to finish the project. I was a bit shocked, but he was very confident about it. We really liked the way he communicated and had an open discussion about everything, so we decided to go with him. Ohad had promised us that we will see progress in our house everyday and he kept that promise. His workers are honest, hard working folks and we were really impressed by everyone - especially Omar who was the worksite supervisor. The workers showed up everyday on time (8 am or earlier) and left late evening by 7 pm. They left the worksite so clean after every day's work that we used to wonder whether they were planning to come back the next day :-). Even our new neighbors were commenting about the punctuality and asked us for the contractors phone number for their remodeling (without seeing the interior, just based on the punctuality). We were expecting it to at least take 3-4 months and were prepared for the wait - but the entire project finished in 2 months a 1 week ( 1 week over the agreed timeline). And, the reason why it took 1 week more was since we added exterior painting and slanting roof+insulation for our new bedroom at the last moment. Since almost everything at our place was new, there were things to be fixed and reconfigured after we moved in. Anything we called and asked for was done the same day or the immediate next day. Everyone coming in and seeing the house cannot believe that it was done in 9 weeks (and within the budget) and a lot of my friends are now planning remodelling keeping Ohad and Quartz construction in mind. Ohad always says that he is "talking out loud" so that there is no confusion. It is his way of making sure that everyone is on the same page and there are no surprises. He is brutally honest and that is the best quality a contractor should have. This was the biggest remodeling we ever did and we were expecting a grind - but it was a breeze thanks to Ohad and his men. Highly recommended !!"
