"I have had a huge issue for 6 issues at my rental property...Several electricians came out, and could not find it, but Isaiah did...So the issue was a crazy voltage drop on all my circuits when I ran the washing machine. It turns out that when the place was built, multiple sizes of gauge wire were used, and a thin wire created a voltage drop. I can not say thank you enough for actually figuring it out. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Mid Pac Services provided a competitive price to replace a water heater that was in a difficult spot made more difficult after a kitchen remodel. I had contacted another company to quote the job they refused because the heater was in a difficult location. Mid Pac was not scared off by this work. I was provided a time and material quote that was fair for the requested work. Due to the location of my water heater, I would have had to install a 50% smaller unit. I did not want to do that so I asked BJ if a tankless unit was a possibility. He understood my concern and prepared a revised quote on a Sunday. When the work began, I was kept apprised of the daily progress which was much appreciated since I was 5000 miles away at the time. Additional time was required to complete the job due to upgraded electrical wiring needed for the tankless heater. Once the job was complete, BJ contacted me to let me know there were punch list items be completed. These items could have easily been forgotten or not completed since I was not on island. BJ ensured the job was done right and all open items were completed to his satisfaction and mine. Now that I am on island, I can say the work looks great and the hot water is endless! My wife is also thrilled the job is done and with Mid Pac, there was no stress. As the saying goes, happy wife, happy life!"
