I contacted this company to get estimates for three different projects. We had met with two other professionals who had recommended that our A/C unit was replaced immediately. Weathershield gave us other options. They sent two guys to make an assessment and it turn out to be one the best experiences during my home remodeling project.

John and his partner completed a through assessment of my A/C unit and made recommendations based on what I was requesting. With his assessment and recommendations we were able to save money and still get work done. He explained to us that although our unit was dated it did not need immediate replacement. He recommended that we clean coils and gave us different options for the new vent. He sent additional information via email on AC units including an estimate for a new unit and  our very much needed ceiling insulation.

We decided to hire this company based on our experience with the John and the information he shared with us. Their prices were very reasonable prices when comparing them to the other two companies. They sent Jose and his partner for the new vent and they did a great job. The work was neatly done and the room cools like a the rest of the house. John came to clean our coils. He removed the entire unit and cleaned everything to perfection. Our A/C unit is working fine.

I highly recommend this company based on my experience with the quality of the work performed and most importantly their honesty. From their customer service staff to their technicians this company deserves an A. 

Once we complete some electrical work in the house, we will hire them for the installation of the ceiling insulation.

"The technician came check the unit and found the problem. He corrected the issue. My house is big and I have 2 units. I asked the technician if he had time to check on my second unit since I did not know if it was time to do a coil cleaning. The technician was super nice about it and he check it . "As for details......before I called this company, I read previous reviews, as well as the wonderful service others were given by Darnell, who is a major factor in this company as well as who preforms the work. When he came by, I told him that he must "walk on water" due to the rave reviews. I was also very impressed by Stacy, who is the person answering the company calls. Previous calls to other companies, I was met with a "hello," rather than a name of a company which made me continue to search for a provider. Stacy was delightful, efficient and advised Darnell to call. Darnell came out, got into the attic and told me what needed to be done regarding removal and replacing the ductwork. I've been having sinus issues and knew it had to be due to all the attic air escaping into the home. Darnell also made sure to include the "Angie's List" discount. The man DOES walk on water with his professionalism, kindness and making sure the job gets done and done right. I can only remember the name of his newest employee, Donovan and apologize to the other two who were on the job. Each tech was wonderful, efficient and made sure they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Now that the ducts have been replaced and the insulation has been added, our home is much colder and dryer. I am sure the FPL bill will drop next month.
I could go on raving about Stacy, Darnell, et al but it would look as if I was a paid spokesperson for this company....LOL and I am not---just a very happy customer. If anyone needs to have ductwork or insulation, please make sure Go-Green is on your must call list."

"Full Disclosure - Get Mo Cool Broward offers a free year maintenance contract for posting an objective review. While I believe that this type of incentive can bias someone to a more favorable review, I will remain objective sharing both positives and concerns. Finally, I think it is showing a business savvy to encourage reviews. Kudos. Positives - (1) excellent response and ease of scheduling; (2) while the technician did not arrive nor call during the two hour schedule block, he did call 15 minutes later to say he was running late and I received another call when technician was in route; (3) tech explained how facets of a/c units work; (4) tech was personable and easy to talk to; (5) tech explained a concern with a part without high pressure to replace the part immediately; (6) he quickly address a concern I expressed by putting in a new screw to reduce rattling in the unit; (7) the tune-up price as excellent Concerns - (1) tech wasn't going to wash electronic air cleaner because "it doesn't need to be cleaned" which is shockingly incorrect and I stated that it wasn't true - I was surprised that a tech with such experience would state that; thus if I hadn't pressed it would not have been done; (2) after cleaning electronic air cleaner and moving on to another part of the tune-up, I noted that he only cleaning one of the two electronic filters and advised him of that. He quickly addressed it but still...; (3) I have a bias against a technician not using a checklist to ensure all 21 points are done; for example, I did not see him lubricate bearings which is part of the checklist (maybe I missed that); (4) tech explained why he doesn't put the gauge on the system if the system appears to be working well based on temperature and pressure readings because "it causes freon to escape and the openings are where leaks easily form". I do not know enough as to whether this is true. I do know that every tech I have ever had did tune-ups that included putting gauges on the system. (5) I pointed out that a previous tech had mentioned a problem with the blades and this tech said after a brief look that there is nothing wrong (now I don't know who to believe); (6) I have had other tune-ups done by other companies and this tune-up felt like it was the least thorough. I personally liked the tech. I pointed out 7 positives and 6 concerns (of which they might all not be valid). I am, therefore, objectively giving a B grade. In the end, let's face it, the tune-up was $29 instead of $59 or $79 or even $129 so price has to be part of the evaluation!"

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"These guys were great! They showed up at 8:00 a.m sharp with a team of five guys and two trucks. They were all business and had the outdoor concrete Hurricane pad set and the new Mitsubishi Heat Pump installed in no time. Meanwhile two other guys were installing the 3 indoor wall air handler units and running the line sets. By late afternoon, the system was all charged with refrigerant, everything was cleaned up and all the units worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier and I'm absolutely amazed at how quite and efficient the indoor units are. They're rated at 19 dBA which is considered whisper quite; most indoor ambient decibel level is ~40 dBA. Seriously, this company did a fantastic job at a very fair price (and I bid this out to 5 other well-rated contractors)."

"Chris Gayle showed up on time and cleaned 6 air vents.  I asked him whether the air unit itself needed to be cleaned.  He looked at that unit as well as 2 other units I have and their vents.  He said they did not require cleaning.  I appreciated the honest opinion versus one that would have earned him more money.
