"Within the last several years, this is the 4th time we've had Action Appliance come out to service our appliance needs - once for our washer, once for our dryer, and twice for our oven. Each time - from scheduling to repair - they've been honest, pleasant, helpful, professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. They also keep detailed records, which they review prior to performing any repairs, and they have never tried to "sell" us on something we didn't need. I have recommended them to others in the past and will continue to do so."

After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. "Double wall oven had an intermittent issue for over two years. When it first started, another company's tech recommended replacing the control and power boards. I did that at a cost of over $600 in parts alone and the problem remained. We decided to live with it after spending that much, but it recently failed completely. Contacted Quick & Eazy Appliance Repair through HomeAdvisor and Josue called almost immediately to set up an appointment for the next day. He and JR came out and spent almost two hours diagnosing the problem. Turned out it a small internal fan wasn't working so they got a price and delivery for it and gave me a quote to replace it on the spot. The only part I wasn't completely comfortable with was having to pay for the entire repair - not just the part - up front before they would order the part. Turned out fine, but not what I've had to do with other service people. Anyway, the part came in sooner that expected and they came out two days later to put it in. Problem solved. After two years of frustration, I wish I had called Josue in the first place. I was an engineering manager and my team had to troubleshoot problems all over the world. I found that someone who can find the difficult problem is very rare and give Josue a lot of credit for his skill in finding this one."

"I had discovered some spots on my ceiling that I had suspected were from roof damage, so the coupon seemed made to order, though another contractor (not a roofer) had suggested that the damage was probably from rodents rather than water, since it did not get worse after a rainstorm.

After playing phone tag for a week or so, I got in contact with Cornerstone, and they promptly sent out a repairman. The fellow did the inspection as specified, and determine that the problem was a large section of missing ridge vent, which he replaced, and explained that there had been a large opening which rodents could easily have entered through. So he corroborated my other contractor's diagnosis, and completed the repair. Well worth the $150.

"He was very polite. He explained why he could not properly close in my replacement window. I emailed photos of the jobs to be done 4 or 5 days later and never received a response by phone or email but he did show up at the scheduled time and looked over the jobs I had for him. All were done in the time frame he estimated except for a carport roof repair which was more evolved than a quick fix. However he did check it out and gave me the list of supplies he would need and the cost to do it. I still have to have my window finished and feel if I was told before hand I could have had the materials on hand. He did explain he did the best he could with what he had to work with. It is much better than it was as it was pretty bad but I do need to have it totally weatherized. He did not take breaks and filled up the 4 hours that I paid for. The original planned day he showed up at the scheduled time after I sent an email the night before assuming he was not coming since he never responded to mail job list with photos. He assessed the jobs at that time and rescheduled for the following Friday. He called that day letting me know he was running 30 min late which was fine with me. I appreciated the call.

"Overall, I had a good experience. Brian was out one of is workers due to injury which made it a bit difficult to get an oven fixed but Brian always returned my calls and he did get to the property to fix the issue as promised. I have a good feeling that, if he hadn't been without a main employee for that week, the issue would have been resolved in a day or so. He uses paypal/email for invoices which makes is nice and convenient to make payment."
