"Eddie was very knowledgeable and very thorough when checking out our AC system. We were impressed with his professionalism. It seems that we might have a small freon leak causing the system to over work, causing ice to form and water to puddle beneath the unit. He also needed to clear the clogged condensate drain line. He recharged the system with freon. He did not try to sell us anything unnecessary, just repaired our problem. Our Carrier ACs are 16 years old so I'm certain we will be needing the services of Canoga Park Heating and Air in the future either for rpairs or replacements."

"It's been a while so I'll try to recall as much as I can. The guy arrived on time. He didn't show ID nor was he wearing a shirt with the Company Logo. The companies that I've dealt with through Angies List' send representatives that are groomed, have some form of ID or wear clothing with a Company LOGO. I had just gotten my carpet clean (using a co. from Angies' List) so I was less than thrilled when he walked on my carpet with dirty shoes. He began his inspection and pointed out items as we went along. I could be wrong, but I didn't get the impression that he was a "real" plumber, more like a tech. I pointed out that on the toilet in the kids bathroom the inside flap didn't always go down allowing the water to refill. I also mentioned that the whole was small which meant that it had to be flushed more than once for waste to go down. He suggested replacing the flushing mechanism with a new one. I'd replaced one before so I knew the parts were relatively inexpensive and fairly easy to do (I'm not that handy). I asked the cost of the job and he quoted me a price of $135 (steep for a $20 kit and 15 minutes of work) but said he had to contact his supervisor to make the deal. I think he said it usually cost $200. He called the supervisor (he called someone, I can't swear it was a supervisor) , told him the what he had quoted me and asked if that was okay. He relayed the message to me that if I gave the company an A rating on Angies' List that the $135 would be ok. ( I fixed the toilet myself). Next was the outside drain inspection with the camera probe which he said was usually not included in the price but that since it was printed that way he'd do it. He checked the drain from the front yard to the street, it was clear. I thought it was supposed to be the drain running through the house to check of clogs or debris which would have been accessed through the back of the house. Anyway, the guy was friendly & chatty but I don't foresee using the company."

Recently renovated my kitchen with Precise Home Builders, the service overall was excellent.  When Moshe showed up for the appointment he was very professional and his 3D rendering of my kitchen and the fact that he promised a brand new kitchen in less then 4 weeks, had me convinced to give him the business. The project took almost 3 1/2 week with demolition, electrical, painting and installation of cabinets.  The workmanship on the cabinets is outstanding.  The project also had a foreman-Gabi, he was always on top of the work and always tried to accommodate me.  From the company's office- Lee was always calling and checking to see if everything was in order and giving me a heads up to what work was going to happen the next day.  Moshe also was checking frequently with me to see if everything was to my satisfaction, even went with me to select the granite for my countertops.  I would recommend Precise Home Builders to anyone who is looking to remodel their home."

"Our house was broken into the night before we moved in, and there were several minor issues which needed to be fixed. I researched here on Angie's List and Yari had good reviews and was close. I prefer to use local businesses if at all possible. Yariv was polite and nice to work with. He showed up on time and was very matter-of-fact about the job. This was an insurance claim, so I wasn't worried about pricing too much, but it was very reasonable in my opinion. The only problem I had was when the rains came later on and the shed door expanded with humidity. It started to scrape on the bottom. I could have called him back, but decided to fix it myself and it was no problem. I would not hesitate to use him again for general handyman needs. Thanks!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I got a great relationship with everyone in the office, including deena and Jason. First off Deena was great, she gave me a like weekly schedule of job and helped me choose all my bathroom stuff through online or even going to Home Depot with me on days she came to job site. The workers were very friendly and respectful when in my house. If there were minor problems they immediately contacted me to inform and I stay updated. Which I thought was great because I like to know what it is going on. I was impressed with how fast things went. I already had my plans approved by city and everything so as soon as I signed contract with them they started a little over a week later! Very good! Fast paced! Friendly staff!!
