Pete responded promptly to my initial inquiry, came out ASAP to provide an estimate on the cracked step (and on a bigger "dream" project I've been thinking about), explained what had likely caused the damage, and gave me several options for either replacing the step just as it had been, or upgrading a little bit depending on my price range. His recommendations were good, and we didn't feel pressured at all, but the full reshaping of the step into a rounded one was a bit outside our budget so we took him up on enlarging it by several inches instead. Overall, Pete was friendly and professional, and had that air of experienced competence that you look for in someone doing work on your house. I didn't even bother getting a second estimate. I did, however, call a good friend who has worked in the brick industry for years, and he assured me that the price Pete quoted was right in line with what he would expect for my project if you want it done right. When I gave Pete the green light, he scheduled the work promptly, showed up in the morning on time a few days later, and knocked the whole project out by that same afternoon. Put simply, the step looks great. It was done promptly, in line with our budget and at the price Pete originally quoted, and our whole experience with him was easy and hassle-free. The new brick color is matched perfectly with the old brick (absent a decade of wear and tear obviously), as is the cement, and it is clearly quality construction. In sum, I would highly recommend PK Masonry to anyone, and I will definitely use him again if I can ever convince my wife to let me pull the trigger on that dream project I've been thinking about..."

"Kevin first tore out and replaced our front steps which had serious settlement issues. He did his best to match our 30 year old brick. It's not a perfect match but not bad. A month or so later he replaced our driveway and added an additional parking pad. Apparently concrete was much cheaper 30 years ago since the pad nearest the garage was nearly a foot thick. His team had a heck of a time getting the concrete out of there. All the work looks good. Our only complaint is the adjacent bushes took a beating. I know they had to get around the buses but they took a beating and good size branches removed. With all the rain, the driveway job was delayed several weeks but we were in no hurry and Kevin kept in contact with us. They worked hard and finished the job promptly. I'd use Kevin again. <br />"

"After a typical roof replacement gone TERRIBLY wrong (by another company, NOT AEM), AEM saved the day by renovating our entire house. Here's all the work they did for us: - Removing all the wet insulation, drywall, carpet, etc. - All new drywall (ceilings, walls, including making a doorway smaller for barn door installation) - Recessed lighting installation in every room in the house - All new tile in four bathrooms - Expanded master bath shower and glass shower door installation - New toilet and sink installation in every bathroom - Installed utility sink in laundry room - Removed wood flooring and installed Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring on main level - Sanded and stained all banisters - Re-bricked fireplace and shiplapped above fireplace - Installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans - Trim and paintwork throughout the entire house They did a great job. Naturally, with a job this big, we ran into some issues. Arnoldo was wonderful to work with. He was always willing to listen and worked hard to fix issues so that we were pleased. "I called several companies for estimates. Housworth was very professional and I felt they were very fair on the price. They installed my roof in 1 day. During the tear off process they found rotted wood under the old shingles. I wasn't at home and they sent me a text showing me the rotted wood that they needed to replace. After they replaced the wood they sent another text with the new wood installed. They also found rotted wood around my house under the gutter system and around the windows. They replaced all of it and painted it. I was impressed with the manager that was onsite and all the communication that I got during the entire process. I have recommended them to my neighbors and would only trust them to work on my house. I will be calling them with all future projects."
